Is this a 3 hr iron or iron/vitamins?/ When I had my infusion, earlier this year, I had a 3 hr infusion the 1st visit, the next 3 visits were 1 hr each. On the 3rd visit, before the infusion, the nurse took blood to check and see IF the infusion was raising my iron level and it had "dropped" 2 points. I have not had it checked since my 4th infusion. My next one should be in a couple of months. When the Dr wanted a full panel of bloodwork, they took 20 tubes, NO JOKE!!! I was dizzy, lightheaded and felt extremely weak. I had to stop somewhere and have lunch, and just chill out for a while. Before I could drive any further.

There are pre cancerous cells present. The visit on tues will include some chemo along with the infusion of iron/vitamins. I am getting a full panel as well and lucky for me I live right next door to the dr. office. So I came home and slept. Eating has been hard on me for a while now. I can go periods and eat and be ok and then I will go through times where I eat and am throwing up and have really bad stomach pain. I am lucky Mrs G that you and I share alot of the same health issues because it helps to have someone understands what I am going through. I really like this Dr. She really wants to get to me better. I came away from there feeling better emotionally than I have in a long while. HUGS

Just wanted to send and update. First treatment didnt have good results so I have to have another one. No Paycheck this month means doesnt help at all. I am honestly ready to let it run its course. Dont have much more fight in me. I cant stand up without almost passing out. I cant eat or sleep. So what is the point. I have been fighting for my job and now my life for years and nothing is getting better so why keep fighting a losing battle? I know that there are people on P.com and outside of here think I am a coward, drama queen, etc. A person has only so much strength in. I am not asking anyone for anything at all. God Bless all.

What do you think would help? Have you asked your doctor about a support group? Have you talked to Mrs. G lately?

Because it might not be a loosing battle and there are people out there that love and care about you very much! If anyone things you are a coward or a drama queen or anything else for that matter, then it is there loss! You and your closest friends and family members are the only ones who know you and know how much of an amazing person that you are! Keep your head up, Stay strong! Talk to the doctor about support groups, like ButterflyLion suggested, and talk to him about programs that can help you. Just cause the first treatment didn't go so well doesn't mean that the second one will be the same.

I will keep you in my thoughts. I really hope that everything works out. If you ever (and I mean EVER even it if is 1am-5am) feel the need to talk to someone feel free to message me.

I'm shocked!! I thought bus drivers got paid during the summer, too. Oh, how awful to go that long without a paycheck!

But don't give up. You have a LOT of people praying for you and sending good thoughts your way. You just hang in there.

Thank You! My son is still working on my laptop. Stubborn like his Momma I guess. I was really at a low point the last time I was on here. I am sorry. I have gotten nothing but kindness from everyone here and I appreciate it. I have worked sometimes 2 or 3 jobs if I had too since I was 16 years old and not being able to do that not is hard. I have always been one to give and receiving not easy. I am hanging in there. Might be by a thin thread but I am still hanging on. Butterflylion I will ask my dr after the holidays and if anyone would know about a support group that would be a dr. Sbm90 You may regret offering because I am up then more days that not at that time. Gets painful laying down alot of days. Last but not least by no means Starr & Dru's Nana you have brightened my day more than you know. You have so much sass that it makes me laugh when someone crosses you wrong. Mrs G called me yesterday I believe. I believe there is a special place in heaven for her. Bet it has that hedge clipper thing waiting on her that got stolen from her! God Bless All!! Hopefully be back on soon!!!

You are well my friend? I am not sure I can put thia on here but like I said no paycheck this month I dont have enough to pay the entire rent much less food. I am 150 short on rent and very, very low on food. If there help outhere Please I am begging for you help.

Debra stopped by today and Thank You!! I have managed to gain 5lbs and keep it on so far. Thats a prayers thats been answered and thank you also for those prayers. We will be moving at the end of the month. My son and I will be living together. My daughter, Husband and my grandbaby will be living together. Breaks my heart but its something that we have to do. Well I wont have to move. The landlord lowered to rent so my son and I can stay here. My daughter is leaving all the utilities in her name and they are getting everything at their apt in her husbands name. Your prayers and thoughts I believe in my heart is showing me God is listening.
