Needs a good home, a red neck slider turtle. This is a female and is about 4 years old. This comes with a tank, filter and light. My son just doesn't have time for her anymore. PM me here if you are interested.

What does one do with a red neck slider turtle? Are they always kept in a tank? Any outdoors activity? Just curious

It lives most of the time in a tank, but can be taken out for a while

Just turn it loose in a creek....Reptiles have a very primitive brain....In less than 2 seconds, the turtle will not remember you or a tank.

Please don't turn it loose. Captive turtles can not and will not survive in the wild, especially one kept in filtered water in a tank. Take her to Lori at All Reef in Hiram. (next to Cheeseburger Bobby's)
If you want, I'll take the turtle and add her to my three. I don't have the $15, but can provide a safe home for it. You may be able to sell the tank, light, and filter on Craig's list.

And for whomever asked, they are kept in a tank but i do have an outdoor habitat that they hang out in during the warm months.
