I know you said anyone but Comcast but I have been nothing but impressed with the Comcast Xfinity internet. It is very fast and reliable. The only complaint I would have if any would be the issue of renting the cable modem. I would just buy the modem if they offered it.

Sadly there are very few options.
Try Comcast.
I wished we could get them at our house. We live off the beaten path a little and they want $5,000 to run cable to the house, go figure.
Stuck with AT&T.

Satellite internet providers have latency that's measured in seconds, meaning it takes a few seconds for a signal to travel to space and back and have very low caps in place so streaming and downloading big files won't work with them.
The only other providers are going to be wireless such as Verizon and T-Mobile using cellular technology, which again will have latency issues, signal issues, and oh yeah.. onerous caps and $$$.
Yeah.. ATT and Comcast are about your only reliable choices.
You can seek to go through a DSL Reseller such as ExtremeDSL or Covad, but there are limitations in place for those resellers and they're on ATT equipment so won't solve any DSL issues you have currently, and if you call them for tech support they have to call you back since they in turn have to call ATT instead of you. And it's like that whisper game with that.. You tell them one thing.. they tell ATT another.. ATT tells them something.. and suddenly your DSL issue just turned into you ordering a DirecTV package or something odd.
