It has been a while since I have seen a picture thread here. :) I know some of us have had new additions. :D So...I will show you guys my babies...and you guys feel free to share your own? You can even add a little story if you want. :D

My house consist of...
Mayla - 01/03/2010 female. GSD x Husky. <3 Spoiled rotten.
Leela - 04/13/2010 female. Boston Terrier. MIL

Simba - male orange tabby. Exact b-day unknown. Took him from a Petstore that had the kittens (about 7 to 8 shoved in small rabbit cages for $30 each. =.= He had a URI. No fun. Still my baby though. No...I didn't pay...but I did talk to management before leaving and he seemed to be glad the sick one was going.
Xion - male. Blue Russian x Maine Coon. Neighbors cat had kittens.
Asus - Male. Found in walmart parking lot with siblings attempting to nurse on their dead mother. :( Found a home for his two sisters... kept him cause by the time they were healthy enough to rehome it was near Halloween...and I don't trust people.

Nibbler - TeddyBear Hamster. Female. From PCAC. XD
Dot - Rat. XD Was suppose to be a female. Was rehomed after the original owner ended up with babies. XD
Lamigton - Rat. Dot's son. Born 03/02/2010
Fern - Rat. Was suppose to be a feeder for a friend, her monitor wouldn't eat it..so I ended up with it. (From here on out...I'm say NO to all animals. I am at my limit).XD If anyone wants her, just step up.

My two pups :) Addie is the black and tan, she is 15 months and K-Bar is the sable and he is 3 years ( a rescue). We haven't had him long and just found out he has heartworms. He came from an abusive home but he is the sweetest dog I've ever known. He is very scared of men, but has totally warmed up to my husband. They are spoiled and yes on our bed in most of the pics! :)

I got her as a rescue from a shelter, but I was told she is a border collie/ cocjer spaniel mix. I think they were right because she definitely has the border collie intelligence and the cocker ears.

I have never seen one of those in real life! So fluffy! Are they strictly pets or do you use fur for yarn?

LOL! Oh my goodness! They do think they are massive beasts, don't they? What a cutie!

This is my husband's (in the background there), miniature Dachshund, Badger. He is almost 8 now, this was taken a few years ago before my daughter cut off all of her hair :p . I say he belongs to my husband because he really does. We bought him from a breeder in Ballground Ga. the year after I lost my Mom, my husband thought he would help heal me a bit. He did, in that he is most assuredly a HUGE personality in this house, but he picked his person and it was my Ray. Ray adores him, he is his baby :) .

Awww. <3 The littlest ones have the biggest personalities. :) They are all so cute! I am a sucker for black cats! :D Out of all curiosity, which one of the kitties is more affectionate?
I think they get fatter than the dogs because (if yours are anything like mine) all they do is eat and sleep. XD Mine normally sleep near their food dish.

Edgar is actually the more affectionate. We laugh because his personality is more like a dog than a cat. Nighters can't be bothered (generally) unless you have something to eat that he thinks he is entitled to, lol. Edgar plays with Badger, who learned early on to back up into him (tail first) to keep from getting a claw to the nose if he wasn't in a playful mood. Funniest thing ever.
Midnight is gorgeous, and he is a great cat, but he is really just a typical cat. I do love my Edgar. He is either acting a right bastard, or you cannot get him off of you...no in between with that boy ;) .

I don't know how to spin or knit yet so I sell the wool on ebay. I am also going to start breeding them. Well one is pregnant right now. They are all pedigreed. They are definitely not for everyone!

I have posted many pics of my furbabies in the past but wanted to take this opportunity to post this little boys photo. He was given to me and is in terrible shape. Infected eyes and ears as well as being shaved so close to the skin that he has terrible razor burn. He is terrified of people. I can't imagine what someone must have done to him to make him so scared. I have taken him in and will get all of his issues under control as well as get him neutered. Then I will try to find him a loving understanding home. He will need someone with compassion and lots of patience. He is about 2 years old, weighs about 5lbs and pure Maltese. He will be so much more handsome once his hair grows back. He does not have a name yet.

We are treating him and hoping everything goes well. It is a horrible situation and the worst part is that it is totally preventable. I think the nicest thing I can force myself to say about his previous owners is that they were "irresponsible". Thankfully it appears to be a very light positive so I'm confident treatment will be successful. :)

Unfortunately I don't work with the animals. I work in the office. But the plus side of that is not having to work outside in the rain, sleet, heat and freezing cold like the people on the animal side do.
