I am so over this! Lost enough weight to fit into normal sized bathing suits but of course I maintained every ounce of my bustline. Ugggg! Cannot wait to have them taken off. (off subject)

Is there any place that sells bathing suits for less than $150-$200 with any support whatsoever? I'm not referring to the minipad and extra bead of fabric. I'm talking serious support for those of us who are carrying a small child sized load up there. Figured if there were such a place, my p.com ladies would know.

I love Lands End swimsuits. I got a beautiful DDD suit last year that kept me supported without squashing me flat. If you don't like mail-order, see if you can try some on at Sears.

NOPE.

Even the more expensive suits have very little support. I have tried for years!!

I usually have better luck at JC Penney, look, fit and price wise. Macy's usually has some really nice ones, but the really nice price goes with them!!

Best of luck.

I buy separates and get the bra size I need with underwire, although I'm only a D. I've always, always worn underwire. That's where you get real support. That and the right cup size. Measure for the correct size.

I usually shop Macy's and it's expensive but my suits last for years.

You could try online for larger bust sizes and order a couple to check the fit and keep the one that fits best.

Good luck and I HATE shopping for swim suits.

Vicoria's Secret sells by bra size. They don't carry a huge variety in the store but they do online.

Macys is the only place that I an get a swimsuit that fits with ample support. They are called Miracle suits, they have a built in bra with a closure that looks like part of the bathing suit. They are expensive, around $150.00 not on sale, but I have had one for almost 5 years and it still looks great. Last year they were 50% off and I bought 2 more. They are the only suits that I can wear.

I'm very large chested and I always have to get bikinis at Victoria's secret. You have to shop online and they're not cheap, but if you wait for sales and online coupons, you can get them around $100.

Wicked Weasel
I fantasize about my dogs having jobs. I pretend that both of them are window cleaners and their kennel is their first starter home. I think the bigger dog is trying to bump off the smaller dog so he can have the kennel to himself. I know I have a problem, but don't animals have to earn a living too?

Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

The more I see of humans, the more I admire dogs.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

The dog is a gentleman, I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.

Thanks, ladies! Had to step out to get dd some clothes. Speaking of chest sizes!
Between all of us who are blessed/cursed and all those who've had implants, you'd think there would be a decent market for the fasion industry.

Wish I had checked pcom while we were at the mall. One of the reasons I didn't want to spend so much on a suit is the fact that my other suits didn't even last two seasons. It's good to hear that some of the more expensive ones do last.

You get what you pay for. And I always launder them on delicate with woolite in cold water and hang dry. Especially right after a chlorine pool. If you can't wash immediately at least rinse it well and hang to dry.

If you invest in a good swimsuit it will last a long time with the proper care.

Once you find the right size and brand then look for one on sale at the end if the season.

I bought a beautiful bandeau top last year that is red, white and black floral and mix it up with red, white and black bottoms.

That's a great idea. Thanks for the tips. I've always hung to dry but didn't use woolite/delicate and not right after chlorine.

I really think you'd like the Lands End suits. They're a little cheaper than the ones mentioned at the department stores, the quality is fantastic, and they make several different fits (regular, petite, long torso), and at least a couple of different cuts of the leg. I haven't bought any other brand of suit in years. Check out their website and see what you think!

Will do!

Also, I'm cautiously looking on ebay. There are quite a few miracle suits, new with tag, that might work. Much cheaper.

I suggested Wicked Weasel because you can buy the tops and bottoms separately in different sizes and still get a suit for less than $100.

Member of huge baguppie club here. You could not PAY me to wear a swimsuit, not because I am fat, but because of the bewbie issue. I don't swim in any pool at all but when we visit the ocean I will wear (boys) swim trunks and a tshirt with sports bra. I envy all of you ladies that feel comfortable in a swimsuit. I haven't worn one since elementary school (early 70's) :p.

Oh! I found it already. www.swimsuitsforall.com. They make suits in sizes 8-24W. They sell one pieces, bikinis, underwires, tankinis, board shorts, everything. They have a "busty" section and a "high(er) neckline" section for those of us who don't want our girls popping out at any given moment. Sorry, guys. But they could scare small children. I bought mine 2 years ago. I got 2 swimsuits (with free shipping) for $42. They were $29 a piece and I got a bunch of discounts. I am thrilled with the suits and their customer service. If you order the chlorine-resistant suits, make sure you order a size larger than you normally wear because they don't stretch as much. They give a 10% discount on your first order and send you emails with more discounts after your purchase.

This week I shall shop!

Ditto :) Some of their suits have underwires which are
awesome! And most of the suits are separates so you can
size to suit a larger top and smaller bottom.

Who do you buy a swimsuit for to look good, your husband, your male friend, other women's envy, or yourself?

Be proud of what have and flaunt it. You won't have any complaints from males.

Maybe we should have a Ms. P.com swimsuit contest.

Thanks for this link! How nice to see decent, and most importantly, modest swimsuits at reasonable prices.!! :clapping:
