Dorothy K. Edwards, age 88, of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was born on February 8, 1924 in Marietta to the late Allen and Bessie Kuykendoll. She was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude W. Barnes, her second husband, John Edwards and two sons, Kembile Allen Barnes and Tony Barnes.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Marvine & Loyd Jones of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Dana & Tony Crocker of Dallas, Lisa & Alex Brewer of Rockmart and Kristy & Steve Kirby of Hiram; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Joe Maxwell and Brother Billy Bell officiating. The interment will follow in Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.

Have known this family my entire life - Marvine, Trina, Dana, Lisa & Kristy & families - so sorry for your loss.

Sad. Dorothy was just like another aunt to me growing up. All the times she was at Aunt Marvines house.
