Lost, 50 Shades and other disappointing things in life...with spoilers

And 50 Shades of Grey is the absolute worst book I've ever read.
Now I realize that sometimes things can't live up to the hype - but it seems like nothing has lived up to the hype for me lately. I'm almost afraid to see Avengers.

If they laugh at you because you're different, laugh at them because they're all the same.

1. What was teh Dharma there for?
2. What do the numbers mean?
3. Why were they experimenting on polar bears?
4. Did the island and off island life happen simultaneously?
I'll admit that as I sit here there is still 10 minutes of the last episode left...but, I have a feeling that we won't get any answers.

It's short on story and heavy on sex.
Like trying to read a porn movie.
It's erotic in the beginning, but after they've had sex 411 times by the time you're half into the book....it's starting to get old.
Maybe it's just not my kind of book.
I have a secret theory that maybe people who have REALLY enjoyed this book, were missing out on something in their life in the first place.
JMHO.

Actually that is the worst of it all...they PLANNED it this way. The announced after season 3 that they were only going to have X amount more seasons.

I watched the first season of Lost...and then they lost me. I had no desire to play their silly game. I did watch the series finale when it originally aired, because my daughter was a HUGE Lost fan...it was unsatisfying, and I didn't even follow the series. Meh.

LOST was a total disappointment. Season 5 really did not make any sense and left more questions then answers.

NOW, I did stumble into one I may be sorry that I started ... but so far so good!
My son was watching “Awake” in the family room while I was in the kitchen cooking ... (another show that I purposely did not watch.)The family room and kitchen are basically one open room... so I saw enough that I started asking him what was going on.
It is well written and has a double plot woven into two story lines every episode.
I watched all I had missed through “On Demand.” I like this show. My son said he heard that it will end (and wrap up) at the end of the season. We will see!
Here ...LOST explanation... much deeper than I ever got with my own thoughts!

I think my wife spit her water out when that was said. There was also...
Thor: "You will not take Loki! He's my brother!"
Black Widow: "He killed 38 people."
Thor: "He was adopted."
