Dr. Clay and his staff are great! If you're like me, you want a vet who will take the time and talk about things and give you lots of information. I consider vetrinarian services one of those that requires a relationship more than a business transaction. Dr. Clay gets that. Even with a dog nerd like me, he puts up with my endless questions and really creates a welcome and open communication kind of environment. I was looking for a specific vaccine. I talked with a few local vets and mostly got, "Why do you want that? You don't need that around here." Dr. Clay knew why I wanted that vaccine, knew all about it, taught me some stuff I didn't know about it, and had it in stock. That's pretty impressive, because there's no money in carrying that vaccine. Most of it will expire and be discarded. As a trainer/behaviorist dealing with fear, anxiety, aggression, etc. I was also impressed that Dr. Clay understands the role of medication to deal with these cases. Many vets try to medicate away the problem, but that seldom works. I highly recommend him and his staff at New Hope Animal Hospital.
