Yep,auctions are held there.Open to the public.......The night I went, looked like yard sale leftovers were being auctioned.

Oh,BTW...When you walk in,if you see friends, don't wave................auctioneer will think you are bidding

Love the place! Great deals and getting better everyday. There is a thrift store on the same property. I have found really great items that I could not have purchased otherwise. For example...A new light fixture that was selling for 5 times the amount at a local home store, antique table and trunk for about $20.00 per item. I love vintage things... and at the blue chicken they have antique night. Every time I go in the thrift store it feels like an adventure. The place is really big!

where is this? I haven't been to downtown Dallas but twice or three times since November and it just doesn't seem familiar to me.

I am not familiar with this place either but LOVE a good auction. When do they have auctions? Do they have a website? I get emails from an auction in Jackson and it gives a heads up on what is being auctioned (with photos a lot of the time) and who the vendors are that will be there on a certain night. They look like a great place to go but unfortunately it is a bit far to go. I would love to check out the Blue Chicken. Thanks for any info.

I found an online link that gives the address, phone number and info on a few upcoming auctions. I am sure the items listed for upcoming auctions is incomplete. I purchased my solid pecan diningroom set complete with 2 buffets and a tea cart at an auction in SC that I use to frequent. I LOVE auctions! Although it has been years since I attended one. I will have to check this one out. http://www.auctionzi...ers/196519.html
