11Alive is coming to Abney tomorrow!

So excited that 11 Alive will be at Abney tomorrow. According to a note sent home with my son, W.C. Abney is one of only 5 schools in Metro Atlanta that have been selected as "11 Alive and NBC's Favorite schools as part of their Education Nation initiative. Hopefully a lot of families will turn out to show support despite the insanely early hour . Mr. Gregaydis is doing such an amazing job as the principal. They will be filming live from 6:00 to 7:00 am.

Hubby and 4th grader are going at 6:00am. 4th grader is SOOO excited and think that this is the coolest thing to be chosen. Mr. G is also principal of the year!! WOOHOO!!!

BEST SCHOOL AROUND!! Suffered a couple down years, but corrected their mistake and now it is back!! Yea ABNEY!!!

Way to go Abney! There were over 300 students this morning and I have no idea how many parents. I bet we had at least 500-600 people there! There is another contest going on right now that could really help Abney out as well. This grand from Rack Room Shoes is for $50,000.00! WOW - can you imagine what we could do with that!
