We are currently seeking a part-time paralegal/legal assistant. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a law firm, a firm understanding of the legal system, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle simultaneous multiple tasks. Experience with Family Law preferred. Other requirements include experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Pay commensurate with experience.

My neighbor is a paralegal for a huge firm downtown (she telecommutes) and has been a paralegal for YEARS. Her specialty is "immigration law" She is wanting to find something closer to home. Would you be interested in her resume?

She is welcome to submit her resume, but we don't do any immigration law. Do you know if she has experience with any other areas of law? We have a large amount of family law, but also do criminal defense, DUI, personal injury, estate planning, business law and some other civil litigation.
