Came home from work today around 3:15 to find 6 police cars lined up on my street. Apparently a couple houses were broken into. A neighbor was home and saw them carrying out a backpack full of stuff and a TV. 2 white males dressed in all black driving a 1996ish Red Explorer with 18" black rims (according to the neighbor).

They parked in our neighborhood and robbed a house behind the one they were in front of. Apparently, ( I spoke w/POPO) the house that got robbed owed these people $, so that is how they were going to get it back. The Explorer also was a 2 door with a very loud muffler.

You must live in Twelve Oaks, we are neighbors lol. When I came home the police were still there talking to a neighborhood kid, I was wondering what was going on.

My FIL saw all the cops also, at about 5....also, last week, there were 10! police cars in the same area at about 11:15 p.m.!!! My aunt and uncle live across the street from these folks and they said there is some shifty stuff going on in that house.

It is, but that is where my FIL saw all the cops yesterday and husband saw all the cops the other night

This was NOT in 12 Oaks. At Gunnell and Mt Tabor.

That is what was thought to have happened at first. The cops were out talking with the neighbor who saw the people with the TV when they were received a call that the house behind the 3rd on the left had been broke in to. They all jumped in their cars and raced over there. I was trying to pull out of the neighborhood when I saw them all race to their cars and head towards the front of the neighborhood. I just pulled to the side and waved them around me. Anyways...after they spoke with the people in the other neighborhood the whole story came out. The police walked around the house in our neighborhood and all doors and windows were locked and his trailer was locked as well, so the house that got robbed was targeted not just a random act.

Brandon Springs is the name of the neighborhood. I think the name of the road is Chastain Way. On google they have Chastain Way as our street.

They parked in Ashwood and walked through a trail behind an Ashwood house that backs up to a Brandon Springs home (the one they were targeting). An Ashwood neighbor saw them coming out from behind an Ashwood home with the Brandon Springs' house TV and a hollered at him/her. They dropped the TV in the yard of the Ashwood house and took off running around the house. Came back around the other side of the house, jumped in the red Explore, and took off. The Ashwood neighbor called the POPO. They came out and while getting the statement from the Ashwood neighbor, the call came in to the police about a house being broke into in Brandon Springs.
