Has people from Paulding County.
They are at the end of the video . They are from the gypsy trailer park off 61 lol
I know this bc my cousins kid knew them and has always told me about the park.
This gypsy shows are my guilty pleasure
Was not filmed in Paulding that I know of. Think they all went to wedding

Thanks for sharing, CE!

Are the people from Paulding at 1:14 in the clip doing the group high five? The guy in the blue jean colored button up looks really familiar.

I have been aware of the Gypsies or sometimes called travelers since I moved here.
There use to be a lot more of them and some were very flamboyant.
I think a lot of them follow work, such as construction.
I actually found their values towards their daughters rather refreshing, as far as saving themselves for marriage.
They seem to put family first in all things. They are very different, but I did not think it was in a bad way.
I lived up north for quite a few years so I am familiar with culture and traditions.
Italian women are somewhat flamboyant in their dress not all but some.
I remember the first time I brought my mom up to NY for a visit she was shocked by what some felt was a normal and proper way to dress, I won't repeat what she said.
She didn't get out of Memphis much.
I think it is kind of neat to see people in this day and age hold on to their traditions and culture.

They take their kids out of school in Middle school. I think that is ridiculous.
They teach the girls they have to stay locked up until they meet a man who they can take care of at a very young age. Then they say it is okay for the men (young boys) to do whatever they want. Drink, have sex etc- But the girls can not do that or they are used up and are not any good any more.
I think that is actually sad.
I still will watch though lol. They put it on tv and I will watch because it is entertaining to see. Plus I like to see what the next crazy dress will be.

I so agree with you, CE!
Where would the honor be? That is too close an Islam type belief.

The girl from Douglasville said she was taken out of school when she was 12 I believe and she had to stay home and help clean the house and take care of her autistic brother and then mom even said it was easier for her daughter to do it cause she can handle him better.
