Seemed kind of strange since they were headed in the direction of Charlie Brown instead of Dobbins. Anyone else see them?

Hubby must have. He was outside and looked up. I heard them. Sounded like they were getting it!

The 22s were holding back on the reigns when they went over here. Was that a Jetstar with them?

We saw them too at New Northside. They looked like it was practice. I have seen the plane flying by itself.

Well, I will just have to go look out my bosses window!!! You can see the planes taking off from Dobbins and sometimes they look like they are headed right for his window!!

But I love it. I miss watching the planes from Lockheed!!

I think it was. There was also what looked like a 737 circling (maybe touch and go's?) He came so close to the top of the building across from us one time that I thought he was going to take the tip off of it.

There was a large plane headed west a little while ago. Lower than normal and not where a commercial flight should be. I'm thinking 757 or 767. And the helicopter from the other thread was on a southeast path and it looked like he made a hard left when he saw the big plane coming his way. And shortly thereafter the Huey went back to the copter shop in Hiram and landed. I figure he needed to clean his pants out. :D

I think we need to start a rumor that Paulding is "under attack".

These are the hover crafts from the "Capitol" attacking district 12. We need Katniss to come defend us, only she can save us from "The Hunger Games" LOL

Lockheed uses a jetstar for some in-flight photography. It has a higher ceiling and speed for keeping up with fighters, so they could be taking F-22 pictures.

There are very few jetstar's still flying out there other than lockheeds (there were not alot bought in the first place)

The last F-22 is leaving / being delivered on may 2nd and there will be some sort of ceremony, perhaps this is related to that?

"THE F-22 ERA at Marietta’s Lockheed Martin plant will officially draw to a close next week with the delivery May 2 of the final copy of the Raptor stealth fighter."
&
"next week’s hoopla will include top brass from both Lockheed Martin and the Air Force, along with a slew of national, state and local officials and lots of TV cameras in tow."

Formally Jetsmom - edited to finally include the final baby's initial. ;)

Well that sucks. I have spent many days fishing on Lake Weiss while being entertained by one of the best airshows imaginable. I saw the 22 fall a few thousand feet in a flat spin one day.

Really weird that I saw them today. I also saw the SR-71 turn final on its last trip into Dobbins a few years ago.
