Ms. Peggy Marie Baxter Blackmon, age 65 of Dallas, GA passedaway on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.



Ms. Blackmon was born on December 8, 1946 in Dallas, GA thedaughter of Mr. Hubert Cecil Baxter and Mrs. Mary Adeline Blackston Cole. Ms. Blackmon was a member of the Shady GroveBaptist Church and enjoyed sewing, shopping and gospel singing.



Ms. Blackmon is survived by her mother and step-father, Mrs.Mary and Johnny M. "Max" Cole of Centre, AL; father and step-mother, Mr. Hubertand Lucille Baxter of Dallas; two brothers, Mr. Raymond and Laverne Baxter ofDallas and Mr. Billy and Millie Baxter of Centre, AL; two sisters, Mrs. Judyand Rocky Williams and Mrs. Shelby and Ronnie Kemp, all of Dallas; and severalnieces and nephews.



Funeral services for Ms. Blackmon will be held on Thursday,April 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral home withReverend Jimmy Tibbitts and Reverend Herschel Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding MemorialGardens. The following gentlemen havebeen asked to serve as pallbearers: Barry Baxter, Hulon Daniels, Kevin Baxter, Christopher Baxter, JerrySingletary, and Randy Wilkerson.



The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday,April 25, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from9:00 am until the funeral hour.
