Mrs. Bonnie K. Smith, age 77 of Dallas, GA passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice.



Mrs. Smith was born on June 2, 1934 in Gadsden, AL to loving parents, the late Mr. Virgil Alton Wise and the late Mrs. Lucy Annie Beavers Wise. Mrs. Smith was of the Baptist faith and loved her children. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by husband, I. L. Smith on January 17, 1981; a grandchild, Scotty Smith; and two daughters-in-law, Mrs. LuAnn Smith and Diane Smith.



Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mrs. Shelia and Theron Rackley, Cartersville and Sandy Bennett, Dallas; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Mr. Alton Smith, Dallas, Mr. Donnie and Clarissa Smith, Dallas, and Mr. Ronnie Smith, Lithia Springs; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services for Mrs.Smith will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:00 (Central Standard Time) at the Bethel Baptist Church, 2807 Beason Cove Road, Steele, AL 35987 with the Reverend Cobb Hallmark officiating. Interment services will follow in the church's cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Ronnie Smith, Jr., Donnie Smith,Jr., David Rackley, Steven Hessler, Alan Bennett, Randall Berry.



The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.
