I have lived in the New Hope area for about 4 or 5 years now,
and I just noticed, the 3 crosses in front of the new dollar general and hardware store on East Paulding.
If it is not to hard to talk about, could someone tell when, how and who died there ?

The accident happened, probably, about 4-5 years ago now. A young man and his 2 nephews were in the car, and somehow (I think accidently pulled out infront of) got hit by a truck. The Uncle and 1 nephew died at the scene. The other nephew had severe brain swelling and was hospitalized for several months. He eventually, was able to go home and live with his family and go to school, but, he also passed away a year or two later. The mom/grandma is on here, rarely now, as her husband is very sick. Her name is Bouqet. There are also a few pcommers who were at the scene of the accident, helping the victims. They have just recenly updated the crosses.
There are several threads on here about it, but, I don't have time to go find them all.

I also remember following sweet Ashton's struggles on here through Bouquet. So very devastating to lose the young one's. I know that Ashton and Denver are playing together in heaven now.
When you lose someone, especially a baby, and they were babies in my mind, it outs things into perspective.
I try so hard to cherish each and every moment with my loved ones, you never know when they'll be taken from you.

Is this the same death mentioned in post 7 of this thread about some pets being left?

It all sounds very sad.

I noticed the poster mentioned a member named Bouquet and a child's death in an accident so I thought maybe it was the same.

Denver Cail and his family had been or have been mine and my husband's next door neighbors for 14 years. His little brother and dad still live in their home alone, but they seem to have moved past the accident as much as possible and are happy with each other. His little brother does seem to have some anxiety regarding the possibility of a disaster in life hitting them (car accident, home fire, etc.), but I think that should be expected. He knew that his mom was deceased before the emergency crew got to the scene even thought he was in the back seat of the suburban. Denver was in the front passenger seat and he was in a coma by the time he arrived at the hospital by helicopter and quite possibly was immediately after the accident. He never came out of it and passed away 3 days after the accident. It upset people in the neighborhood so badly that another neighbor went into labor within a few days after the accident but 2 months too early. Thankfully she and the baby were fine and they are both still healthy. Many, many people that know the family started taking up donations to help the father pay for a double funeral and medical bills. Everyone raised enough to just about completely pay for them all. I know that even today he is still grateful for the friends and community members who helped do this. If any of you helped then I am sure he would like to say Thank You from the bottom of his heart. Take care everyone.

So glad to hear that their doing better, it was so tragic. I subbed at Roberts Elementary at the time and the whole school was in mourning. We all took Nicholas under our wings and he had several mentors who supported him. I love that lil boy,he is so sweet! thank you so much for the update.

Hubby witnessed the accident and was one of the men who got Ashton out of the car still in his car seat. It was a bad, bad day.

We were at the gas station. My husband was pumping gas and saw it happen. I was inside and heard it.
