I have had to reconsider the construction of our porch railing and window boxes for flowers. The crappy pressure treated sold these days just won't hold up.

This one is for next to the back steps. It is 5/4 PT, with a perforated plastic bottom, and it is lined on the inside with thick pond liner plastic. The feet are sled-like 2x6 and 2x4.

I got to thinking for those who don't have a garden by choice, or by covenants, these would do great for growing lettuce, spinach, parsley and other herbs on a back deck or porch.

Anyone interested ? This one is nominal 9" wide x 7" tall, and 48" long. The planting area is 7-1/2" x 5" deep x 45", and would sell for about $50-$60 with a coat of grey deck primer.
