Year after year we have put off hiring someone and tried to make grass grow in our back yard ourselves. Well we are throwing in the towel. I need estimates from reputable landscapers to make grass grow in our back yard and fix the weed infested front yard. I want someone that will go over everything with us in detail and help us make an informed choice on what kind of grass to go with and also teach us what we need to do NOT TO KILL IT. I have hired a landscaper in the past to plant some things in my front yard and do some mulching. I got screwed so it makes it very hard for me to trust a contractor again but I would really like a nice backyard for my kids to play in that doesn't include them coming in covered in red clay. I also need some mulching and maybe some planting done in the from yard in addition to the grass. If you know someone that you would HIGHLY recommend or you are interested in giving me a quote please message me and I will give you my number so we can set something up.

Thanks,
Clancy

I love Kelly landscaping, they are pro at this. I have used them for many years,my grass looks good. I am spoiled because after all these years.

Kelly does a great job for us too. Im a little disappointed cause I referred them to someone else and they left them hanging.

I was just trying to get them new business but I guess this time of year they are swamped.

I use Kelly as well, at more than one house. When we moved in almost two years ago, our yard was chockfull of weeds. It was horrendous. After fertilizing, aerating, lime treatments, and whatever other magic they worked it looks amazing. There isn't a single blade of crabgrass left.

Like Rockysmom said, they are probably very busy this time of year.

You can hire a company to do it all for you, but usually a soil test in multiple spots around your yard will tell you exactly what is going on / why it is so hard for you to grow grass. The county extension agent is the best (and cheapest) source for soil testing (and water well testing too). The soil testing kit is $15 including postage.

You don't even need the kit, Just put the sample in a ziplock bag and take it to the county extension office beside the hospital. It only cost me 8 dollars last year and had the results in a week.
