This is the same as the voter intimidation charges. Holder again covers for the Black Panthers where any caucasion person or group would be thrown in the sewers under the jail.

Good grief, they deserve about as much attention as the KKK. As the saying goes birds of a feather flock together. You will always have haters and they will form groups and spout rhetoric.
I saw a social networking page today that someone posted 20 hate crimes, black on white going back 10 years.
My guess is someone compiled these cases on a website and I can just guess the political leanings of it.
I am deeply embarrassed by the KKK, and would be even more embarrassed to see their numbers swell over this issue, give black Americans the same credit.
Do we really want this, because it is not about hate crime, it is about economic pressure we are all scared and uncomfortable. The pie is shrinking rapidly and the people not like us politically or genetically are competing for the pie.
This is human nature, just like other animal urges, don't fall in with it.
I refuse to feel threatened. The only way this issue turns into a hate crime is if people buy into the rhetoric to the point they become violent.
We know that profiling goes on and we know why, do we really want widespread violence and rioting, because this is where it is going to go if we keep doing what we saw in those links and people use social networking to take it to the next level.
I think it is time for a trip down memory lane when comes to racial and ethnic issues, do we really want to go there again because the haters love an excuse to be violent.
The issue is one of criminal justice and a relatively new law that has been put to the test. There is more here than a questionable law and a black kid. This is political all the way to the Whitehouse.

So when was the last time the KKK put out a hit on a specific black person? I do not know because I never followed or paid attention to them

They don't put out a hit, they put on a robe and wait for the sun to go down.
Different styles but the objective is the same.
Fear and hate, if you don't feed into it dies a lonely death, if you do feed it, it becomes an ugly uncontrollable monster.

Pretty off hand remark there. Reason I say this is because of all the hate they generated. After one quick search I saw a figure of 2000. That's a whole lot of hate carried through generations. That's why it really doesn't matter how long ago it was.
A caring, thoughtful, beautiful mind creates it's own blue sky.

Abou Ben Adhem
Abou Ben Adhem (may his tribe increase!)
Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace,
And saw, within the moonlight in his room,
Making it rich, and like a lily in bloom,
An angel writing in a book of gold:—
Exceeding peace had made Ben Adhem bold,
And to the Presence in the room he said
"What writest thou?"—The vision raised its head,
And with a look made of all sweet accord,
Answered "The names of those who love the Lord."
"And is mine one?" said Abou. "Nay, not so,"
Replied the angel. Abou spoke more low,
But cheerly still, and said "I pray thee, then,
Write me as one that loves his fellow men."
The angel wrote, and vanished. The next night
It came again with a great wakening light,
And showed the names whom love of God had blessed,
And lo! Ben Adhem's name led all the rest.

Siding with a scumbag may be exactly what needs to be done. If we love our fellow man we don't have to love what they do. If we hate them we injure ourselves, because hate only serves to cause the hater pain and misery. The one hated often couldn't care less.

I'm a firm believer in standing up, speaking out, and talking back. That doesn't mean that I want to see violence. It simply means that I want to see people talk eye to eye about coming to a happy medium.
Of course, what I want is only one opinion among millions!

It should have been left up to the Police, it's invesagators and a grand jury to decide. Not the mob.

You are right, Thoughts!
However, history has shown that even grand jury's can be biased. They may think, "when in Rome you should do what the Romans do," but I din't even do what Paulding Couny's people do. I would not want to go before a grand jury in Paulding county. Most likely I would be hung for not going along to get along with everybody.

You are making an assumption and show a sincere lack of faith in the American Justice System. The guy hasn't even been charged nor has the case gone before a Grand Jury. You're going along with the mob based simply on what you've heard and a knee jerk reaction based on your own personal bias. You've automatically assumed the process will be or is going to be rigged some how. No faith in Justice at all...

Putting a contract for murder out on someone is in itself a crime. It should fall under Conspiracy, but I am not a lawyer so I would not say I am 100% positive on that.
A criminal conspiracy exists when two or more people agree to commit almost any unlawful act, then take some action toward its completion. The action taken need not itself be a crime, but it must indicate that those involved in the conspiracy knew of the plan and intended to break the law. One person may be charged with and convicted of both conspiracy and the underlying crime based on the same circumstances.
For example, Andy, Dan, and Alice plan a bank robbery. They 1) visit the bank first to assess security, 2) pool their money and buy a gun together, and 3) write a demand letter. All three can be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, regardless of whether the robbery itself is actually attempted or completed

A terroristic threat IS a crime. And you can bet your sweet ass if some Honkey had put a bounty on Sharpton or Jackson's heads the Attorney General would be all over it.
