What kind of beach and where/part of the country do you want to focus on?
Are you a party type or want laid back?
Family which must do activities or single?
Do you want close by tourist places/historical places or just beach?

It's for a family- we are thinking Florida- 1 teenager 1 pre-teen.

We love Tybee Island and and have always enjoyed staying at the Ocean Beach Plaza Hotel right on the ocean....and.... if you do go to Tybee eat at Sting rays, the food is awesome, great atmosphere and reasonably priced.
