This is the same dresser I posted about in Cornygirls thread last week looking for an old wooden dresser. It was a little out of their price range, and too large for a couple of others who pm'd me for the dimensions.

It is all wood, turn of the century [1900], dove-tailed drawers, rolled fronts on top 2 drawers, and 2 spacious lower drawers. Tilting mirror is part of the dresser. It as some "age" spots near the corners.

The veneer on the front edge of the top is splintered in the middle. I have been awaiting son to move out, again [YEAH!!] before fixing the veneer. Matching the stain will be the only real challenge.

But, MrsSurepip informs me last week that she wants to redo the Guest Room [formerly "son's room"] in a more contemporary motiff with some other pieces we have been saving and plain and simply the dresser does not fit her plan, and its too nice to store in my miniwarehouse.

So it is available.

42" wide, 21" deep and 38" tall,

$150 and I am open to barter. I am currently looking for a Ryobi or similar power head to use with the Ryobi line of "Extend It" attachments.

I also still have the executive desk chair available $25 or make me an offer.

Refinishing or touching up will Deminish the value of an antique, i'd just leave it as it is, jmho&2cw

You should send Corny Girl a PM - I think she and her husband buy furniture and restore it.

Cornygirl came and looked at it and wants it, but can't swing it in the budget this month. If someone else wants it, we would prefer sooner than later, but will see what happens.

Anyone need the chair ?
