This is the second time that Ive been called about boys that cant keep their hands to theirselves. Im trying to let the school handle this but I know for a fact that they can get in some serious trouble for this. WHAT DO I DO?
They can't keep their hands off your daughter? If so I would ask for a meeting with all parties involved at the principals office and make sure the other parents know that this was their one and only chance to rectify the situation. If they can't, the authorities of Paulding County will take care of it for you.

I agree! I wouldnt waste a second with this or care whose feelings I hurt. That is serious and way over the line.

this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks with 2 different boys. I think im going to be putting in a phone call to a family friend as well. The first little boy denied it and said it was someone else but it wasnt. he obviously just got a slap on the wrist. Im still waiting on the principal to call.

To me it is irrelevant what color they are, if they are touching my kid inappropriately then it's on.... But I would give the school a chance to rectify the issue first personally.

I usually don't play the race card but in this particular topic........I don't think it really matters what color they are.
Just sayin.

Yeah. I don't understand why that has anything to do with the situation either.

I need to get her into judo or somthing cause for 11 shes tiny.
Little hands still sting when they connect with cheeks, gets the message across loud and clear. It's worth taking the suspension over. You don't want her to be a doormat, this is more important.
Thank you.
Now back to the question at hand........
Was this an actual inappropriate touch or an accidental brush?
If it made your daughter uncomfortable, I would have the school office involved.
If it happened again, I would have the police involved.
How old are these kids?
it made her very uncomfortable to be touched. It was on her bottom both times. Im at the point to where I want to involve the police. These are 6th graders.

She knows not to take crap off of anybody. I just think these little boys are just seeing how much they can get away with.

I'd be up there walking through the office door appt or not. Thats just me but theres no way I'd let her go one more day without some swift action on the scholls behlf. If not, I'd take it to the police immediately.
Government schools are bad enough. I wouldnt let them get away with a minute of this.

Yep! Somtimes it is worth the punishment in the long run and its what you have to do. I think the school should take this seriously though.

The principle said he would handle it, prolly just like the last little boy he didnt get in trouble.

Yep, yep, yep. On top of the slap she could say "Hey ____________ your a perv DON'T touch me." She must say it loudly though.
My thoughts exactly. Maybe if we start giving our children permission to stand up, and speak up for them selves we wouldn't have so much bulling going on.
Happy Birthday to all 1973 babies. Tell your mom how much you love her!!!

I wouldnt take that or settle for any answer other than a total change in what has been happening. Im tellin you, Id get the police involved and the media out there. That principal is a moron if he doesnt see how serious this is.
My son always went to private school but one day he came home saying a teachers child in his class threatened to bring a gun to school. The next morning, I confronted the boy, his mother, the principal and told them all that if I heard another threat I was going to the police. I didnt wait for a call nor did I have an appt. I didnt care about protocol. If we dont protect our children, who will?!
I meant it and they knew it. Never heard another threat.

My behind would be in that principles office and refusing to leave until both boys and their parents were there also.
me too!

I am not a fan of police involvement at this young of an age. The school system is well aware of the charges that could be filed against the other students. So let's keep this in perspective. 1. Improper touching is at the very least Simple Battery. It sounds a lot worse than it is. If someone just lays a hand on your shoulder it COULD be SB. But then there is the whole intent thing to contend with. 2. The school system is aware of all these laws even if it sometimes needs to be reminded. 3. If it was John yesterday but Jim today it is kind of hard to prove an ongoing case with multiple parties unless John and Jim are known to always work together. Now if James, Jack and Fransouis ( I just had to through that one in) and then more all take turns on different days over an extended period, then the onus would be on the school system itself for allowing this kind of thing to keep on happening. At that point it would seem to be common practice for the shool administrators themselves to keep turning a blind eye to this activity. That would be a whole different legal matter all together. you are also going to run into opposition to a combined meeting with the other parents as you and the other parents are actually two seperate cases and neither of them will be allowed to "know" about the other. My advice is to start a log of Who you spoke with about what and when and what the outcome was. That also goes for the actual incidents themselves. This will provide you the documentation that you will need to get actions taken by parties that would otherwise be reluctant to act. Also providing the school with a written statement and a copy of the appropriate OCGA might get their attention a little faster. As a final thought, PLEASE make sure that what you are being told is wholely accurate. I know that children have a tendancy to exaggerate and omit pertinent details either on purpose or by accident. My time in the PD has taught me that there is usually side 1 then side 2 and somewhere in between lies the real truth. Which may be closer to one side than the other.
Good luck

I can't stress strongly enough the need to encourage your daughter to stand up for herself if this is indeed guys grabbing her butt. Because of my own experience with this, I made sure my girls knew they had a right to do whatever they needed to do to not be a victim of morons like these guys. In 6th grade, my daughter was targeted by a boy in the class.. She didn't hesitate...she hit him so hard he fell over a desk and was CRYING. The teacher--a male--who of course had not seen anything, asked what happened. My daughter told him. He looked at the guy and said, "Good! You deserved everything you got." Teacher didn't even report it.
I'm not going to tell you not to report it to the admin or the police, but please empower your daughter. It will serve her well now and down the road.

Im going ot see about putting her in some kind of self defense class or judo or something like that. She knows to stand up for herself.
Explain to your daughter where her knee needs to go, right between his legs (makes me hurt typing this), do it so hard he bends over double in pain. I hate to here things like this.

yep because this is where the rapist and molesters start.
I'm a fairly easygoing kind of person. I believe in giving the benefit of the doubt when possible. I encourage my daughter to take care of these issues herself and she has been given the go ahead to slap / punch / kick anyone that deserves it. The caveat being only that they DESERVE it. I will not get angry over ISS for a deserved physical response and make no mistake here, even if they did what you say and she slaps them, school policy dictates that she gets punished as well. I know it is stupid but think the lawyers and liberals for that rule. I would think that a stern verbal response / warning to a first incident would be the correct thing to do. A second incident following said warning would warrant a slap maybe a knee to the groin. But PLEASE make sure she identifies the rightful person. I rember geting slapped at the bustop in high school by a girl while I was talking to a friend. I was dumbstruck! "what the heck was that for?" "didn't you say ______?" " No I did not say anything of the sort, and I was not even talking to or about you!" And the only response I got was an "oh". Maybe I should mention here that she was also the principal's daughter.
