Found this on my son's facebook today....

Someone son found this dog suffocated & left in a creek in East Paulding today near Due West Rd & Silvergrass Drive off Chastain Rd... They made a police report but if you have any additional information, call the Paulding County Sheriff's Office... Thank you!

I am seriously sad and disturbed by this. There are some sick, sick people in this world. Prayers for that doggie. I hope he didn't suffer, but that his killers do.

Your view must have been better than mine because I couldn't even tell it was a dog.

We have someone very sick in our community, we can all see just how sick.
This person needs to be found as quickly as possible.
It is hard to treat this as you would a homicide, but it should be.
Maybe the picture will create an outcry from the community to pursue this until the person is found.
This is very scary, it takes a certain type to do this, we don't want this person walking our streets.

I wonder if the kid examined it closer, the only reason I say that is because I see two other bags in the water and just wondered if the bag could be laying on top of the dogs head or if he saw it was "tied"

I live very very close to there. A few months ago my cat along with another cat where found near that creek laying side by side dead. My cat had a hole in his head (I am assuming a gun shot). It was very obvious that someone had killed them and laid them next to each other in the same position. Makes me wonder if the same person is responsible...

ugh, that's disturbing. I'm really sorry that happened. I hope this get treated seriously and is investigated. I think we all know that a person capable of this type of thing is likely to progress in their "sickness".

Very true. I have my suspicions on who did it, but would never be able to prove it so what do you do. Same people who have "stole" other peoples dogs and then ask for a reward in order to get them back!!!!

I really didn't want to post the picture.....but it showed the exact spot the person did this act in......hoping someone saw something...sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone...or gross anyone out...I just want them caught....

UPDATE: Someone contacted the news & they're following the dog story in addition to the necropsy on the dog. The lady whose land this was found on said that MANY animals have been dumped there in the state as this one!!!!

If someone ever did that to one of my buddies (3 chihuahuas) they'd better hope to hell they're locked up to where I couldn't get to them.

There isn't that much that gets to me, reading what was done.. I felt rage and wanted to badly hurt whoever did that.
I fantasize about my dogs having jobs. I pretend that both of them are window cleaners and their kennel is their first starter home. I think the bigger dog is trying to bump off the smaller dog so he can have the kennel to himself. I know I have a problem, but don't animals have to earn a living too?

Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

The more I see of humans, the more I admire dogs.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

The dog is a gentleman, I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.

This is very scary. Most serial killers start out like this. Animals first and when that isn't enough they move on to other things. This individual has already killed animals in a very crul and suffering way. and different ways of carrying it out and also took the time to lay the cats bodies together. I hope this person is found and gets therapy.

Very cruel act,I can not see how or why a animal can be treated so bad. This animal is a creature of god, justice will take place and who ever will have to answer for there actions. Prayers are needed here.

Is this someone who lives close to us (you and me) if so please pm me all of this is very disturbing to say the least.. I know the sub you live in as well as the one that is next to you, there are always teenagers cutting through the woods and walking the road, the road is used for a dumping ground, for trash, furniture, and people even drop off their unwanted pets, on the road.. if we see them do this we call the law.

The creek use to be so nice years ago now someone is always dumping stuff in it..
