I am not with her, I started a new thread because she is using an Iphone and I thought it would be easier for her to update us than to scroll through the other thread that is 3 pages long, she can just open this one and see all the comments and encouragement.

I know she is sooooooo happy to finally be in labor. Miserable doesnt describe how you feel the last few weeks. Praying for a good delivery and a healthy baby and mama...:wub:

No joke! tomorrow is my last day working in the office, I'm doing my last week working from home. And the last two days I've had ankles the size of grapefruits from the swelling. I swear if I pricked them with a needle I could fill Lake Lanier.

:lol: Nope, still here...waiting, waiting, waiting. I shouldnt be complaining. I still technically have 30 days from today til my due date. She was past hers and that HAS to be so miserable. Just the thought of that is bad to me.

I have thought that I'm 2 weeks ahead of the due date they gave me the entire time though. I still think I am but it really makes no difference in the big scheme of things.

I'm really glad she was feeling better and no pain when she last checked in here on Pcom. They keep you so busy after you deliver, she may already have and just hasn't had a minute to herself to let us know.

I started my induction on a wed morning and finally had my c section Friday at 4. I don't wish that on her.

I know the feeling. I have never had any swelling, even when I had my son. But this time I've gained abour 7-8 lbs just from swelling. It was REALLY bad from the waist down, then all in one night it was gone. Had no swelling for maybe 2-3 weeks then all of a sudden it was back. I can't believe how sore it makes you. My lower back is actually swollen, too. Who even thought that was possible?! my shins hurt when anything touches them. My bed is sort of high(and I'm relaly short)so I have to turn around and sit on the bed to get in the bed. If I go shin-first, it feels like somebody is kicking me. I guess it's b/c the skin and tissue gets so stretched that it makes it sore. No fun for sure.

I'm glad you only have a day left in the office. You just feel better at home no matter what. You'll be able to get more rest and put your legs up more and that helps a lot.:wub: You should try a prenatal massage. If you get somebody who knows what theyre doing, you wont believe the difference in how you feel. I have a really good person at The West Cobb Avenue if you're interested. She will take great care of you. I wish I was closer so I could go to her now.
