"MOM, I got a toothache." As cool mornings to hot afternoons begin, your child may be experiencing the "summer cold" or seasonal allergies. Ragweed is blooming like crazy now the pollen is everywhere. This tends to clog those little sinus cavities in the cheekbones. This puts pressure on your upper teeth causing the "I have a toothache" feeling. Try a mild decongestant for a few days first before making a dental appointment. If symptons get worse or don't improve in a few days, make an appointment with your doctor or dentist. We recommend Clartin-D or generic brand Wal-D (Walgreens brand).
