It is for a Pageant in Darien Ga. It is this weekend. Ya, they love the Ga pageants, but this Episode will be boring. We know all the Families that were picked and they are all amazing people. Not too much dirt unless something happens at the pageant this weekend. I just think it is cool that they Filmed at local shops :-)

Your daughter is adorable.
It would be nice if they showed a "good" side to pageants. I'm sure there must be one, but that show typically shows only the worst drama from some really questionable people. I hope they don't make you look bad in their editing.
Remind us when it airs!!

We tried to be super careful about what we said! And she only fell off the sofa once. Ha! I hope she looks as cute as she did filming after they edit!

Be careful, after they get through editing, you may have another "honey boo boo child" on your hands!!

An optomist may not get there any faster, but he'll enjoy the trip more If you believe you can, you can --- and if you can't, at least you believed you could!

As to your sentence I put in bold: I often say "There is no reality in reality TV".
With that said, please let us know the air date. I do not watch this series but would love to see the episode with your CUTE daughter in it!!

We use to watch this show. My girls loved it. I know many people thought it was way over the top in a bad way, but for some reason I did not think it was that bad. But then we recorded this season and when one mom kept talking about drugs I wouldnt let them watch it anymore. Is this season more crazy than before?lol So, I canceled the season bc of that episode.
Let me know when to watch!

And yes, these things are incredibly rigged. There is one locally that a friend had her dd in. Someone told her that a particular girl would place...to which the other moms said, of course there was no way this girl would place. The person told them that that girl's mom would pitch such a fit at the end, if her dd didn't place, that it was easier on them to just give the girl a placing. She placed.
And don't even get me started on what this does for the self esteem of those who do not win. As you can tell...I'm not the biggest fan.
Having said that, I'm sure that if a parent can handle it in the right way, it's possible that their girl can have a blast getting to play dress up and be on a stage, have a new experience, etc.
Our dd did a couple of them when she was in middle school. My opinion was known. It was tough for me, trying to be supportive. I told her it would be great if she won but not to expect it because they were usually rigged and it meant nothing to win. What?

I see soccer in her future when she turns 3. In the mean time, Modeling and other jobs are putting money in her account for college!

It's disgusting...but, I'm glad that your husband stayed classy. After all, you weren't late - which is far more important than keeping your dignity and self control on national television.
