I love the size, preaching and people of the church I am now attending, but something just doesn't hit home for me. I like the newer churches with dimmed lighting, casual dress, open minded about the way you worship, healing. I prefer a medium size church, not small but not huge and crowded. A church where no one critiques you. Know of any in the paulding area or west cobb? West Ridge is a little too big

I guess I am too picky. I believe I don't need a church to attend but I want some place I am excited about going.

Being "churched' my entire life(which I consider a very GOOD thing), I have seen it all and there is no perfect church. You will not find one where no one critiques something you do. Thats b/c we are all just human. People will ALWAYS disappoint but God never does.

I would find the best church for you and then overlook the negatives and enjoy the positives. I think doing that is so much better than church hopping every few months or years and never really making a solid, grounded church FAMILY. I agree that we do not HAVE to go to church. We ARE the Church but it is so wonderful to have a Pastor who KNOWS you and your family well and a church family that is there for you when you need them.

Scripture does remind us to "not forsake the assembling of ourselves with others" underlining the importance of a church body.

There is a church on the square in Dallas, small congregation, contemporary services.
I would sometimes talk with the pastor at lunch. I really liked him.
I wish I could remember the name of the church.

The preacher is great at the Cartersville Campus, and the West Campus that meets in Poole Elementary is also a good place.

Gracepointe meets right now at North Paulding High School. Our Motto is "A place where you belong" and "a place where it is OK not to be OK". I've been there for a year and a half and never have had anyone critique me or be ugly to me. We love it. Our services start at 10:00 a.m. On March 25, we will be moving to Shelton Elementary School on Cedarcrest Road, same starting time.. We would love to have you!

I ditto this!! James Griffin is AMAZING! He should really make a recording of himself reading the entire Bible. He is so passionate and I could listen to him all day long! If I didn't teach at West Ridge East Location on 92, I would drive to Cartersville!

Rock Church
New Location: 476 Hiram Sudie Road, Dallas GA 30157. (About 1/2 mile east of HWY 61.) This is a shared church building. Service times: Sunday - 3pm Sunday School, 4:15 Worship. Wednesday 7:30.

This is a great church, just starting out. I think they have about 60 in attendance. But they are growing and very friendly, family oriented.

Hometown...I go to First United Methodist in town and loved it. I searched for a place. I went to West Ridge when they were in the high school. Didn't feel comfortable there after the move. I feel truly at home at older, traditional service, but they have a modern service also.

Yes. I'm not much on religious type music, but when there is someone as genuine and sincere as this girl, I am impressed. This is a great musician and an even better person. I have known her and her family for a long time.
