This girl is very sweet. She smiles. She showed up hungry and has blisters on her little paw pads. We cannot keep her. She has taken refuge in our garage for the cold night we are supposed to have. Ok, here's more info. Found out she's been hanging out for 4-5 days. We need a foster or forever home for this girl. I think she may have been dumped. She is very timid. She has been fine around the cat except when the cat scared her to death, then she ran away. She is potty trained. She sits, shakes, sits back on her hind legs to sit/stand up straight. I mentioned that she smiles. She is the sweetest and is very worried about keeping her person happy. She is a little petite for a lab.
She loves to chase sticks or balls. She is intimidated by men/larger boys but comes around quickly with a little patience. I get the feeling that a male was not very nice to her. I can't say enough about this girl so far. Wish I could trade one of mine in for her! Oh....I haven't heard her bark one time, even with my four devils showing off their vocals! Someone come get her before mine teach her how fun barking can be!
We might be able to take her. My husband will be calling you soon.

I may have just talked to him. So happy to have responses for this girl. I didn't want to throw her into the zoo of our 4 big dogs. She loves being near us but hasn't fussed about having alone time in the garage. She did run around with the two girls in the back yard for awhile and was completely submissive and got along great with them. She's even been amazing with our cat who has to live in the basement (hubby works down there during the day) because the other dogs won't leave her alone.
Maybe we need to find a home for one of ours and just keep her....lol. J/K. No one else would put up with ours.
