So last night I could hardly sleep my belly was so tight felt like a basketball in my tummy literally!
But there was no pain i was just uncomfortable!
Well all day today I have felt the tightness, it doesnt seem to go away ..

I dont know if its gas or Braxton Hicks

But if there is no pain it isnt labor right?

Seems hard to time anything bc it feels like its constant .. idk maybe hes laying weird today!

Contractions will come and go and you will be able to time them.
Sounds like you are nearing the end so your belly will feel tight and uncomfortable.
Best wishes for any easy labor and a healthy baby!

You do feel a "tightness" and labor can begin before you feel any real pain. The baby is running out of room and probably getting all into place for birth so that makes it uncomfortable for you and you CAN feel a marked difference in how much the baby moves. When real labor starts, you will have at least a few of the common symptoms like tummy stuff, low back pain, etc even if you arent having all the signs.
If you arent in labor, take heart, b/c you will be soon at this many weeks. That's the exciting part! Get as much rest as you can and make sure you have a few people to help you when you get back home. Good luck!

I know you are prob plenty ready to not be preg anymore. I'm 33 weeks and have felt that way for a month already  lol. But, I'm probably WAY older than you and lemme tell ya, I feel it...:( .

Awe I remember when 38 weeks meant you were overdue. That baby will be here fore ya know it. All your symptoms sound normal. Pack your bag it won't be much longer.

Happy Birthday to all 1973 babies. Tell your mom how much you love her!!!

Just joking......the baby will be hungry!! It is sooooo sweet when you first get to hold them!

I know you're excited, but I don't know nothin' 'bout birthing babies!!

I had C-Sections.

In both my pregnancies, the baby got real still right before birth.
My doctor says this is because there is less room to move around.
My Grandma would say it's because the baby is storing energy getting ready for birth.

I wonder if other women found this to be true.
Right before birth did the baby get very still and didn't move much at all?

Are you kidding? Mine was kicking the crap out of me! I swear it felt like she was trying to do back flips in there! Week 39, they had to induce---and it still took a day to get her to come out. I finally told the doctor, "I don't care what you have to do--get this THING out of me"!!! LOL!

BabyB moved a lot less right before labor. Long story short, my water broke. After almost 15 hours at the hospital laboring. I had to have a c section. BabyB couldn't for through my hips.:( poor thing looked terrible when they pulled him out. LOL Like a little blue gnome.

I'm just over 35 weeks, the baby has gotten very still in the last few days, and I have also had tight belly without noticeable contractions. The US yesterday said she was VERY low. My first one was a failed 3 day induction process at 38.5 weeks. I don't remember her being still before the induction at all, but apparently she wasn't in a hurry to get out.
