I dated him when I was in high school. I didn't know the person he was until after I dated him for a while....HINT HINT as I put in my previous post....He is manipulative!!!! I was a kid and I grew up, he fell behind. I'm curious as to why this post has become more about my relations with the shooter and not about the actual topic. As for self esteem issues..... I don't believe I have self esteem issues. I am perfectly happy with myself and wouldn't change a thing, thanks for asking.

is his wife prettier than you? is that why you are slandering him here? how do you know the dog? do you live in the neighborhood?

I'm confused. What was it that told you that the guy you dated and this guy is one and the same?

Never mind, I see where you posted the answer.

well, when you tell everyone your business on a public site then you should expect people to say stuff... i want to know who he is so i dont meet him somewhere.

Even though I hate this guy, I have class. It is not appropriate to paint his name all over Paulding.com I can't say he would do the same for anyone else.

I know the shooter's name because unfortunately we still have the same mutual friends. This story has spread because of his big mouth. It is also in the news. Bitter? Not so much. Happy that I'm not his wife and have his kids? YES! As I wrote before, I feel bad for anyone associated with this psycho!!

OMG, really? Why does her looks have anything to do with this post? Are you that bored? I'm not slandering him. He has already given himself a bad name in the community. I feel sorry for his wife and neighbors more than anything. I don't know the dog, I heard about it! I was sympathizing with the blogger.

I would never bad mouth anyone's wife or kids.... are you even reading my posts? I just feel bad that they have to grow up knowing their husband/dad shot a dog for no reason.

So you didn't witness anything? you just heard something about your ex-lover and believed it with no proof?do you think that's why he broke up with you? because you didn't have faith in him?

No I did not witness it, thank god. I heard about it through more than one reliable friend and then came across this post. If it's not true then let me know. I will delete my posts immediately. With his record/history this seemed believable.

You are asking really odd questions and seem to be really interested in our break up. I was a teenager when I dated him so I wouldn't refer to him as my ex-lover....BTW, I don't think you read my previous post when I said I broke up with him. Can we move on now?

Exactly, move on. Maybe you need to move on. He obviously didn't love you because he married someone else, had children with someone else.....let him go.

Ha! I really and seriously can't stop laughing at that question. I think it's pretty obvious! Anyone who knew us and our relationship in Paulding Co. knows that he got dumped! I was more career focused and head strong, he was more into drugs, cheating, and being manipulative to women. Clearly, we were never meant to be. I was stronger than he thought so he didn't get too far with me. :)

I mean really........

THIS IS HILARIOUS

hi i am the so called shooter just for all of yall to know i am deeply sorry for what i have done but yes their is a lot more history then what everyone knows just to fill in the spaces hear is my side on the thursday befor this all happened. me and my neighbor( not the dogs owner or the OP) were outside with my now 8 week old puppies when this dog came running in to my yard, after my puppies and was growling at them luckily my neighbor jerked them up before the dog got to them, all while the dog was jumping on her to get to my puppies. she took them inside before anything could happen. nothing was said that day about the dog because just about all the neighbors come running to get the dog out of my yard. now this was on thursday before the storm. now on saturday my 7 year old son was taking our puppies to potty, i was woke up by my wife screaming. as i came into the livingroom my wife said hat the dog was standing on my porch inbetween her and my son growling. as i come to the door the dog was going back up the street so i called the pound and told them what happened and they were sending someone out. yes for all of yall to knowi was in the house and it was no longer a threat to me at this time. as i stood at my window waiting on animal control to get here, i seen the dog owner get the dog and take it inside. a few min later my sons mom came to pick him up for the weekend, and as he started down the stairs before me i noticed the dog running back towards my house i reached and snatched my son back into the house i turned to look back at the dog and it was already on my sidewalk not 2 foot from my stairs were my son would have been. standing there growling at me so i reached back in the house and got my gun and shot 4 times down at the dog from my stairs. at this point i did not know where i hit the dog. my wife called 911. the teenager across the street was walking to the OP's house so i called her to let her know what had happened before she heard it from someone else. at no point did my wife state to the anyone at anytime to get there dead dog from my yard. we did not call the original dog owner because as long as they have lived here we have never spoke the first time for ay reason. the police and animal control got here and started there process of asking questions. after animal control had looked at the dog they informed me that it was shoot once in the temple and no where ele that they seen. yes i do have a permit for any and all weapons that i may have on my self in my home or in my vehicle at any point and time. yes i will do whatever i feel is right to protect my family at any cost. dont get me wrong but just for everyone to know no matter whos dog, (even my own) whos kids, mine the neighbors or someons kids that i dont even know. if i thought that they were in danger from a dog i wouldnot hesitate to do the same thing again. like i said i do feel really bad that it had to come to this, this was nto something i wantedt o do but rather i had to do because i have had plenty of chances beore this time but instead called animal control and confined myself to my house. anyone that might know me should know that i am a dog lover i have 4 of my own and have always had dogs since i was a child. sorry if i have ruined any relationships with my neighbors. i hope that we can find peace again one day so our kids can play together and there not be any worries. i know it will be hard, but really and truly am sorry.

sincerely

I know this shooter and let me tell you......when I heard about this I instantly felt remorse for the dog and it's family. This guy is crazy! I know this because I dated him, worse mistake of my life. I know he has mental issues and have experimented with drugs. I'm not sure if he does drugs anymore but when he did he acted insane. I feel bad for his wife and anyone else associated with him. This incident shows just how much of a man he really is. Animal Control are trained individuals that handle cases like this every day. If he and his family were indoors, the dog was not a threat!!!!! If I lived in his neighborhood I would move instantly! Just some friendly advice.....

I hope that the dog's owner presses a significant amount of charges on this psychotic individual and he either gets mental help or goes to jail where he belongs.....

Sincerely,
Someone who cares.

so you really think you know me? then if so you need to check your story with this mutual friend they are changing the story to fit there needs...then if we dated in high school you would know i love dogs and wouldnt do this for no reason because the love for my family over powers anyl love i have for anything else. so mind your own damn business. and worry about your own husband and not me since im so crazy and you dumped me.

Shananigans we should hang out some time you seem like the type person i would get along with.

Dear Neighbor:

Your trucking dog was on my property and growled at me. It's a shame you don't care.

I have no idea who you are now, only then. I will check my story, the only reason I posted anything to begin with was because I felt bad for your neighbors dog. I know that you had a dog growing up and you loved it. But, I also know that you have a temper and you can get crazy. I may have been wrong for assuming that you were the same person considering your actions in the past but can you blame me? My post was only to let the blogger know I am sincere to her situation, it was never meant to exploit you. Your apology to your neighbors show that you have a lot of guts and you feel bad as well, so kudos!

im really not a computer person but i have been reading everything that has been said, this was not to cause conflict but to hopefully help eveyone to understand tha i am not crazy (regardless what anyone says) and i wanna thank the people that realized there could have been a good reason. not just a act of a "trigger happy redneck"....i would like to know what you would have done if your child was in that situation

If I were Josh:

Dear Neighbor:

Your trucking dog was on my property and growled at me. It's a shame you don't care.

Josh

I would have waited for Animal Control and stayed in the house. It would have prevented a lot of trouble.

Your apology to your neighbors show that you have a lot of guts and you feel bad as well, so kudos!

yeah you dont know me now and you didnt know me then because i didnt do anything to you, i was never crazy towards you only about you. you only assumed that i cheated. and never really looked at the big picture. but it doesnt really matter now we have both moved on and have very different lives. and i guess your dad got what he wanted from the start.

Y'all are sweet.

I have a dog that I like to walk. on a leash. i have neighbors who like to take walks. there is a pit bull in the hood that used to run loose pretty much every morning as though his owner just let him out the front door. there's also a german shepard that runs loose pretty regularly. both have chased people and me personally. I made it my mission to call AC every damn time I saw them out. I also took pictures when I could grab my camera in time. i sent a big ass email with a report and all my pictures of the pit bull to a chick at AC because they can never get here in time to actually see the dogs running loose. That's all I can do animal control wise.but I'll be damned if I'll put up with not being able to walk my neighborhood because I'm afraid of a dog. I have a stick. i have a gun. I have ways to make your dog (or your cat that trucks with my fish) go missing. If you don't care about your animal that's sad but not my problem. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.
