you can do a search on "My content" (I looked and didn't see anything)to see who it might have been? Do you know an approxinate date this took place? This might help you in your search, or maybe another pcommer can help you look for it. Good Luck.

I looked and didn't see anything that may have been useful in the search but, ask Pubby he may be able to direct you.

I've got an older celebrity electric motorized scooter that needs probably tires and batteries to be a great shape. I'll donate for Danny if he needs it and I'll approve using the board to raise the $200 or so to get it in good shape.

....... did this wheel chair loan have anything to do with a "school event/function or someone in/from a school?? Shouldn't this be in the "Community Chest" forum??

Why? She is just asking for something to be returned that was borrowed.

The way I read it, Pubby was asking for donations to get this wheel chair fixed, for this person. To me, this would maybe, (just maybe??) get more attention/views in the "Community Chest" but, maybe that was just my thinkning?? Some folks may look at the topic title and think it's not worth reading. Oh well, nevermind! :pardon:

I see where you are coming from Mrs G. I'm not sure what state the original wheelchair is/was in, so my bad.

I think if you read a little closer Pubby isn't asking for anything. I just offered to cover part of the cost. Sorry that is just your way of thinking.

Well, when Pubby said............. "I'll approve using the board to RAISE the $200" I just thought he was asking for donations. :pardon:

The $200 is my guesstimate of what it would cost to put this thing back in running condition. I'll give it away to someone like Danny if (and only if) he needs it or someone else, for that matter.

I just happened into it and while I think it is cool - with new batteries it would have a 25 mile range or so - it could be a useful device for someone in need. (If not, if I can get motivated, I'll cobble the drive train and controls off it and put in a three of four wheel bicycle and see how fast and far it could go.

I just hate to see it sit and do nothing and I spoke on a whim.
