I've got a nice Briggs engine, 15.5 HP, OHV, IC engine that will fit on most riding mowers. I am selling the engine straight out for $175 cash, or I can remove the blown engine and replace it with this engine for $325. This engine costs about $600 brand new, and that's not including having it installed on your mower. If interested, please call me at 678-315-8794. Engine will be ready by to go by the end of this week. I am going through the entire engine, de-carbonizing the piston, cylinder head, adjusting the valves, rebuilding the carburetor, and a new gear head on the starter, as well as new air filter, spark plug, and crankcase cleaning with fresh oil. To appreciate this deal, I would encourage you to check around and see just how much these engines cost right out of the box. ;) Mind you, the warranty on NEW engines aint all they're cracked up to be, so you've really got nothing to lose and everything to gain by buying a used engine that has been thoroughly inspected, and compression checked to meet the same specs as a new one. This particular 15.5 engine is one of the most durable engines I have seen in my years of repairing mowers. I've seen my share of blown, or oil burning engines, but so far never this model. Engine includes lower pulley assembly for the drive belt and deck belt, and factory muffler. I'll post some pics after I finish going through it. But here's a pic I took from an engine site, so you can see what it looks like:

NOTE: Engine pictured is a newer model and has much more plastic in its construction, whereas the one I have is all metal- NO PLASTIC! The newer ones also have cheap Nikki carburetors that cause choke sticking problems, and are mostly plastic internal parts. The one I have sports the much better and reliable Walbro, all metal construction carburetors, that will last YEARS longer than the Nikki's. Remember folks- Newer is not always Better, in fact, newer is almost always cheaper made and will fail in a shorter time.

Especially the "I'll replace it too" part. Most people who have swapped engines on riders will tell you it can be a pain sometimes. Good thing I love doing it! ;)
