ALDI is having a Hiring Fair on Tuesday, February 14th at the Hilton, Perimeter Center, 7am-2pm &4pm-7pm, and also accepting applications for "all positions, all Atlanta locations" at the Woodstock location on R. 92. Funny, this event isn't listed a their website.

Don't know if that includes the soon to be opened ALDI store in Paulding?

I saw posted a while back about a hiring fair at the Marietta location for the new Paulding location. About a month or so ago. Not sure if they filled all positions or not at that time.

Generally an Aldi only has 2 or 3 employees working in it at one time. The stock is on pallets, you bag your own groceries, and there are no cart boys.

I'm guessing the developer, contractors, bankers, site selectors, investors and planners are betting on you are right.

I would not consider ALDI a "grocery store". It is more like a small warehouse store. No name brands, no frills but good prices. I look forward to having an ALDI so convenient...my food bill WILL go down!

The ALDI I shop at has more than 2-3 employees although not a lot more. Majority of the items are on shelves like any other store and not on pallets. I've only seen one or two pallets on the floor.

I like the idea of bagging my own groceries.

I got a chuckle the first time we went and had to put a quarter in the shopping cart to be able to use it but when it was returned to the carousel we got your quarter back. Pretty smart......eliminates the need for bag boys gathering up carts in the parking lot.
