Does anyone know where they are hiring CNAs? I want a PRN-as needed position because I am still going to take classes and need to keep an eye on the Thrift Store.
I need a job because the store doesnt make enough money for me to work there all the time. I have girls running it for me and now I have to branch out.

As you know, there is no hope getting a job these days unless you know someone. All of you that know me can talk to your friends at the hospital, nursing homes and home health agencies.....please!

I will also have my Phlebotomy certification after February 17th!

Have you checked with Tanner? I just took a look at their job openings and they have one listed for a Phlebotomist that is PRN. The website is www.tanner.org. Good luck!

wellstarcareers.org ALWAYS has CNA postings with several of them being PRN. They seem to need people often at the Paulding Nursing Center. Good luck on taking your phlebotomy certification test. Just remember the order of draw, additives, and safety because the majority of the test is on that. Are you taking the NHA test?

Yes. I am taking the NHA at Chattahoochee. I am studying hard for the next 2 weeks

I saw a posting on a sign for the retirement home on the East West Conn. I can't think of the name of it, though.

Presbyterian Village is a retirement community off East West Connector. There is independent and assisted living. Then there is assisted living for memory support (need of CNA's) and Health Services (nursing home, need of CNA's) so you might check with them. 770-819-7000 ask for Human Resourses.

Where did you go to school? --- do they have any job placement or intern / co-op? Is the school helping their graduates?

Is the place you did your clinical hours not hiring?
