Talked to a lady that had a webpage devoted to Emilia and told me i have something good here. So does anyone have any suggestions on where I can take to get appraised???

I have several of my grandmothers things, one if them being an old Singer pedal sewing machine.

I would like to know of a good antique shop as well.

There's one in Douglasville on Fairburn Road next to the DQ...

Check these guys out. They came into the store a few weeks ago, and both of them were just a delight. I've been telling lots of folks about them :) .

If you look at her website, there is an email address so you can contact the artist. I'm sure she could give you an appraised value. And let us know what you find out!

Is your item jewelry or pottery? She does beautiful work!

I've got around 300 or so stamps that are mounted and set in 8 frames. I looked up 4-5 of the stamps, one is worth around $800 the rest of the ones I looked up are worth around $4-500. So rough estimating, each frame has around $2-5,000 in stamps. Not to mention the boxes of stamps that are loose, at least 5,000 stamps (not that I expect those to be worth that much, but even $1-2 would be good.
I fantasize about my dogs having jobs. I pretend that both of them are window cleaners and their kennel is their first starter home. I think the bigger dog is trying to bump off the smaller dog so he can have the kennel to himself. I know I have a problem, but don't animals have to earn a living too?

Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

The more I see of humans, the more I admire dogs.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

The dog is a gentleman, I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.
