Hi all!

Someone mentioned on paulding.com that they wished they knew how the voting was going. I decided to open a public poll to see what you all think. Please be truthful and maybe we'll see what decision the BOE will make!

Thanks!!!

I really don't have an opinion about the calendar on the most part but I will agree, they start school to early. Normally they go to school for 180 days but I think this year it is like 170 something or was that last year?

The calendar doesn't matter to me, just let me know when school starts and they will be there (well one will be there after this year). They have a vacation, they have a vacation, they don't, then they don't.

I really couldn't answer anything to do with HS. Mine is in middle school right now.
I do know if we got rid of that "fall" break in September, it would cut out the whining from some of the sports parents.

I don't think Paulding can change King's Day. Isn't it a state law? I guess Veterans' Day could be added. I didn't think of that!

You answered before I could change my post. It would help if I actually read the first post instead of skimming. The Veterans Day question isn't on the school calender survey. But, yes I think they should have Veterans day off as opposed to King day.

I tried to get Pubby to change this poll to private, so maybe people wouldn't feel bad about it being "public". He told me to make another survey, and I did. I hope that Pubby closes this one, so we don't have 2. Sorry y'all. Can you vote again on the "new and improved" survey???

Thanks!!
