Most of the elementary schools in Paulding are decent. You run into problems in middle and high, in my opinion.

We loved Union Elementary. I was a little leery of this school out in the boonies when we moved to Yorkville (before Poole and/or Ragsdale). The staff is above par and very committed. The Principal is phenomenal, she was my son's third grade teacher. It was her first year teaching, she was awesome as a teacher, too!!

You will be pleased the the experience, I'm glad my son had the chance to be part of that wonderful group of educators!!

Those people were called "slaves".

My daughter went to Union from 2nd - 5th grade. It was an amazing school with very good teachers. All of her friends also went to Union, and I have not heard any complaints from any of the other parents. My daughter started at Union, then went to middle school at Scoggins, which we also loved and had no complaints about. She is now a freshman at South Paulding....I am hoping for the best for this year and the next 3 years....I have heard both good and bad about South :)

We miss Union...awesome teachers and staff. Mini me still misses it even though she is very happy at Allgood now.

The school gets awesome scores with the Health Department as well....I think a score of 99 is awesome considering the amount of kids in the school plus staff plus the visitors and volunteers

I went to Yorkville Elem. and it was a small school where everyone new everyone and loved it, great teachers and staff. My children now go to Union and I would have to say it reminds me a lot of Yorkville Elem. the way it was back then. The teachers are awesome and the admin is great, I would have to say one of the Best if not the Best in the county!! Love it. Mrs. B and Mr. Brock are wonderful.

Both of my children went to Union and we ABSOLUTELY loved the school!!!!! Mrs. Benefield and Mr. Brock are AWESOME!!!! Since there really isn't that many children at the school the staff gets to know each child individually. It is an awesome feeling when you drop you child off or am at the school for an event and the staff addresses your child by their name. You can tell that the staff really loves their jobs.

Union school is amazing. We loved it.

The middle school will be Scoggins and the high school is South Paulding High. My kids have gone to all three. My youngest is at the High school now and she loves it.

The staff at all three schools are great. We miss the Scoggins Staff.

Union is awesome! My baby is in 5th grade there, and I had another 5th grader last year...It is a small school, where it feels like family! The staff (teachers, custodians, lunch ladies, ect..) are the best in Paulding County!

I am going to be a crying mess on the last day of school this year :( :(

So did you end up moving to the Union area? It's the BEST elementary school in the county in my opinion. Best kept secret in the Paulding County. High test scores - perfect scores from the health department - AMAZING teachers...I could go on and on!

Good luck!

Scoggins also feed into PCHS. All of the middle schools feed into 2 different high schools.

Happy Birthday to all 1973 babies. Tell your mom how much you love her!!!

Union is great. Scoggins feeds into PCHS and South Paulding High. We loved Union Elm. and Scoggins. We love South Paulding High School.. They have all been wonderful schools.

We live near Rose's if that helps any on schools. The Farther toward Yorkville you go the more chance you get to go to Ragsdale Elm,Hershel Jones and PCHS.

EDIT NM I DIDNT LOOK AT DATE> OLD POST>. :pardon:
