Just before school started the NPHS website listed Friday, August 26 as "picture day." Then dd arrives home the other day informing me it's this Friday. I went to the website...and nothing's there now. Nothing. NPHS has no upcoming events. So we plan for pictures Friday. Then I hear it's not for seniors. Does anyone have a senior at NPHS and have an idea of when senior yearbook pictures will be taken? I'm just clueless...

My daughter goes to north and is a jr. and the underclass pictures are tomorrow. my son graduated from East Paulding a yr ago and they had appointments for sr. pics. during the summer. I would call North Paulding and ask who is doing senior pics. and get their number and give them a call. It could be possible that they are also taking pictures of seniors that didn't come during the summer tomorrow also.

My daughter is a senior at NPHS and the early session for pics was the last week of June. (the week we were out of town on vacation of course)

They mailed a package to the house in early June about it as I recall.

You need to call the school and see if there is another date planned. It's about an hour session as I recall.

The picture were pretty good, but pricing was insane. If they had been a little more reasonable, we might have bought several hundred dollars worth, but the package pricing was such that you either had to buy the $600 package or nothing. So, we got the nothing. For $600 we're looking at one of the local photo people to do a custom photo session.

Yes... your Senior should have gotten something in the mail EARLY in the summer about Senior Pics. Picture day for the rest of the school is TODAY (Friday, Aug. 12) Email the yearbook teacher, Laurien Avery, and see what you can do to get your childs pic taken for yearbook.

Also, unless Prestige portraits takes it, it won't be in the yearbook. (what they said) You need to get in touch with them and explain you weren't in town and make an appt. Otherwise, dd won't be in the yearbook.

When my son had his done 2 yrs ago at East they used TCPICS and they were much cheaper and the pictures were great! I have a daughter that will be a senior at North next yr. so I guess I better get to saving some money...

Usually you can go over to whoever took the pictures studio and have one made and still get it in the yearbook, but I wouldn't waste any time I would call them ASAP.

Just as an FYI I have talked with a Senior mom a couple of days ago about TIC PIC's pricing outrageous. She said that the sitting fee is $35 okay no biggie but you don't get any pictures with that. The mom wants the CD because her son did some casual pictures and they turned out great, awesome but she wants the CD and extra prints, the price for that package is $468.

Photo session with 200 Images Photography are $95
Time frame: hour/hour and half

Location of your choice

Cd with copyrights included

Up to 3 dress changes ( or depending on how fast they can change)

Price breaks with your friends

Senior pics were taken in July. I was very happy with my kid's pics. Contact Prestige Portraits 1 800 736-4775 or prestigeportraits.com. Hopefully it's not too late to get in yearbook.

What you should be asking is how much of that $600 was the required kickback to the school.

We got a smaller package--a little less than $300 total.

I hope the OP will post back with what she found out regarding *yearbook* photos. It's a shame that they're apparently so expensive now - every kid should get to be in the yearbook with at least a simple portrait, whether his/her folks can afford 'glamour shots' or not.

They do all get a picture in the yearbook. The packages are what costs money, just like every other grade, but they are more expensive for seniors.

Just got my son's proofs in the mail. Even the least expensive package is just too much for me right now. At least his Sr pic will be in the yearbook.

The yearbook sponser teacher sent the staff an email this afternoon saying that they WILL be having ANOTHER Senior Pic make up day soon.... Date TBA !! I'll try to post when/if I find out!!

We recieved our package with date & time for photo appointment in May .

Photographers were at the school June 26, 27 & 28th .

The pictures are great . There are about 8 I would love to purchase , but I cannot afford them at all . They said they have a 6 month payment plan where they take the payment out of your debit card each month , but not sure I can swing that . It's really expensive . I figure it may be a fundraiser & I realize they need to make a profit , but when something is so expensive that people cannot buy it , they are going to miss out on a lot of cash flow .

Yes, they had some, but all were not even close to our needs and were a huge reduction in value compared to what you get from the $600 package.

To me, if they were smart, they would use the pattern of the big package, i.e. each package is a certain number of "Points", with the discount on the points getting more the larger the package. Then people could build a package that fits their needs using the points and they would get get more orders.

Dunno, maybe their is some reason they can't do that. But it seems that having a smaller order would be better than no order at all which is what we are looking at.

YMMV

We can somewhat recreate what the school photographers had. The cost would be $95 for an hour/hour and half includes a Cd with the copyrights no additional fees just one flat rate. The great thing about having the copyrights is you print off your own pictures when you can afford or you can burn additional cds and send them to your family.

If you're interested call January 678-476-2263
I also have a Facebook fan page of 200 Images Photography.
If you refer 3 your your photo session is free ( once your referral's are photographed)
Want your Senior to earn extra money 200 Images Photography will pay them $15 per person that they refer, once their referals are photographed they will get their $15.
