The Patriots open their 2011 season this Friday night in our annual scrimmage against the Rockmart Yellow Jackets. The game will take place at the old Rockmart High School field and will be broadcast live on South 107.

Yes it was a well played defensive game, both teams had a hard time moving the ball. I was very pleased with the way our players played, they hustled hard every play and were flying to the ball on defense. The Patriots are back to Patriot football and on their way back into contention. Thanks for everyone's support of our players it does not go unnoticed.. I was impressed with the all the fans friends and family who made the trip up hwy 278 and came out. come on out in two weeks as we play North Paulding at THE PAULDING COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. It will be fun!

Even thought I bleed silver and black now, it is good to see my alma matter taking the right steps to get back to competitive football. Probably going to be a couple of rough years getting back, but at least they are working to that goal. Just dont get discouraged and know it is a process! Good Luck Pats!
