I get asked a lot what specific repairs cost. I always gladly diagnose and give estimate for free but here is a list of *typical* repairs and costs.

Common Desktop Repairs:
Blue Screen on Boot - $40
Virus/Malware Removal -$40
Power supply replacement - $40 (including part)
Memory Upgrade - $40 - $80 (including part)
Bad Hard drive - $100 (including part)
Bad Motherboard - $70 (part not included, price can vary significantly)
DVD Burner - $40 (including part)

Common Laptop Repairs:
Bad power cord - $20 (Part only, there is no labor)
Bad or Cracked Screen - $140 (including part)
Bad Hard drive - $120 (including part)
Broken Keyboard - $40 (including part)
Bad Motherboard - $70 (part not included, price can vary significantly)

Hard drive and memory upgrades can vary depending on what size you are looking for, but these prices reflect what my customers typically get.

Also I sell refurbished computers, Laptops for around $200 and Desktops for $80 and up.

I should have dual core laptops in next week. Prices will be sub $300. I'll post the details as soon as I have all my ducks in a row.

Will print these out, and the phone number, much more reasonable than Best Buy or Staples.

Thanks Cedarcrest PC!!
In history there are people who have had their clothes, food, housing and jobs provided to them.

Those people were called "slaves".

what do you mean by bad power cord? I have a gateway that has a broken prong thingy in the hole that the power cord plugs into. Does that make sense? Is that an easy fix?

It depends on the model. Some are easy some are not. Send me the model number and I'll let you know.
