OK, I got one which has stymied me for MONTHS. I have a cathedral ceiling in my LR with a ceiling fan. Fan has a 4' (about) extension, but is still at least 12' in the air. I got one of those light bulb changer thingies at Homey Depot, and got a couple of bulbs out and back in ok. But then one wouldn't come out no matter what I do (including putting a latex glove inside the bulb thingy). Then, because of all the moving around, one of the light covers fell off but thankfully did not break. Now I have two bulbs out that I can't get to unscrew, and a light cover that I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access. Any ideas???

if it is 12 ft off the floor then use of a 8 or 10 ft steplader should do it
they rent them at home chepo or you can hire a guy like me that has all sizes of ladders for a nominal fee

I got a question. We rebuilt our deck about 2 or 3 years ago. We stained it after it dried out. Now some of the boards are curling at the ends. Whats up with that and once I replace the boards and restain do you have any ideas on keeping it from happening again?

pressure treated wood is like an outer space alien it does wierd stuff when it dries
the newer premium PT doesnt do that as bad
if you screw it down on replacing the boards it reduces the alien affect tremendously

Thank you. I didn't even know they made stepladders that tall. I may give you a call after I check to see what we've got here.

I need 3 external doors replaced. The front door has sidelights, but the other two doors are standard. Where is the best place to purchase and how much can I expect to pay for installation?
