If they laugh at you because you're different, laugh at them because they're all the same.

I am definately obsessed with food! I got the 6 piece strip meal with coleslaw & mashed potatoes & gravy. Should have been mac & cheese but oh well. It's all equally un-healthy. and good.

I go thru phases where I have to try all these new things. My girls (the 2 oldest) want me to teach them to cook so I am embracing that and having a blast cooking with them!! I am getting them monogrammed aprons for Christmas!

Lime is very refreshing! I like Corona with lime, too but BLL is cheaper and I don't have to slice limes...not good to do after you've had a few!

Awww! That is so awesome! I love to cook, but I am just so hot by the time I get home the last thing I feel like doing is cooking. When it cools off I'll cook my butt off again.

Clearly youve never had pickled pigs feet. Eggs are the least of you worries. I actually have 2 different recipes for making pickled eggs (and yes I make them myself, though i cheat sometimes and get store-bought) I can make pickeld eggs that even naysayers like.

I have not done a Vera Cruz in ages. Garden peppers [bells, bananas and jalapenos] onion, tomatoes, parsley, garlic cooked down to a nice sauce with oregano and bay leaves. Then at then end capers and green olives. Brown the fillets in butter, and pour the sauce over them and bake covered for 10 to 12 minutes. Son and his flame and the Mrs were all suitable impressed.
A nice Pinot Grigio and homemade feta cheese dressing for the salad with my very first batch of homemade feta cheese. This is my current project, learning to make cheese with Milk so cheap. I have done feta and mozarella and am going to tackle a harder cheddar next.

not mine though.
i live with apes.
You must send me the recipe. Though I have a confession: i can't make hasbrowns. Unless they are frozen and preformed.
No joke, my husband made throw up (literally) in a gas station on a Sunday morning after a weekend of drinking and bonfires after playing around with one of those huge pickled egg jars on the counter next to the register. Now, aren't you glad you know that?

Dang! I thought I made a good dinner until I read yours! The cod sounds good, we are trying to eat more fish...that is why I have experimented with lots of salmon recipes. I would LOVE to know how to make homemade feta. We go thru tons of the pre-packaged in my house so I am sure I would save a lot making it myself.
NC, I can't make hashbrowns unless they are pre-packaged. I love the southwest ones!
Everything sounds good, except the pickled eggs...and I am also craving ribs from another thread!
