My son will go into preschool next year and i didn't know if lottery funded prek was like private and you had to sign a waiting list. I had heard private lists you had to do real early, and i didnt know if it was the same. thanks!

January is usually when they start taking sign ups for the next year.

Although, if your child is attending a private daycare that offers GA Pre-K, those kids are usually guaranteed the first spots in the class.

I have signed up and registered my kids for the funded pre-k already at a daycare, but am not sure if I like the place they are enrolled. Does anyone know if there are still places that have spots left?

We have 1 spot left in our Prek4 class. Ms. Wilson is a certified and experienced teacher!
Our PreK is private - Not Ga lottery. Our ratios are low. 2 adults:12 students
Our hours are 9am - 1:00, Monday - Thursday
Thanks

This is why I picked the daycare I'm sending my kid to....guaranteed spot :)

I think that private preK hours suck. Those of us who work can't participate in these programs. I'm always baffled by private schools, etc who don't consider that parents actually have to WORK to pay for the tuition of the schools. (This is not specific to your school. I've looked at several for kindergarten with similar hours!)
