They did take some time off.....at one time it seem every other weekend we were packing for a show....Jeff has been really busy with his other business which is booming and the girls needed to work on new music...so they took time off for a while......They did have an awesome show in Jonesboro a couple of weekends ago and it was a fabulous show.....the people were out of their lawn chairs dancing and having a good ole time on the square.......it was awesome.....their all pumped up and ready for the big show at the Theater here in Dallas......count down time....
I really blame the time off on Jeff's new toy....I think he had it built way to close to his studio and he just likes to sit in the bubbles on the weekend...and keep the grill hot......LOL.... Yes he loves to shop at Publix.....

I am SO happy to hear he is kicking up the dust again!!! I felt terrible breaking away thinking there was a pot of gold job waiting on me...only to be disappointed, yet again. Knock 'em dead, Jeff!!! You're the man!!!
So, like...meanwhile, I'm hoping for a tour with ARS sometime, if they decide to call me.
Y'all need to go hear Mr. Brewer!!! He just blows me away!!!...and his trio of lovely lady singers!
If you have never seen one of Jeff's shows, I encourage you to go. Even my 7 year old grandson was mesmerized, didn't move an inch the whole time. He didn't even know who Elvis was. Jeff is definitely an entertainer, his shows are quite a performance.
Buy tickets early if you can, this show is usually sold out.

Those people were called "slaves".

You know Jeff....he is a perfectionist and he's a hard working man....and loves what he does.....but since his father past away....and then he had to put down his little Yorkie Elvis....which took a chuck out of his heart.....They just decided to take a breather.....and get away.....He's back now with flying colors and is sooooooo READY......and I am so HAPPY HAPPY to have D.M. Lee back....I just love that man.........He is awesome...

I can't even read the title of that song without tearing up, I might expire if I actually heard him sing it. I think 3rd grader, my daughter and I are going, one of her teachers from high school is a back up singer.

I missed it Saturday night. But I absolutely love his show. I will be watching to see if he is in Rome for a Christmas show. That would be great. I have lots of family in Rome that would love to see this show.
Weeeeeeell...not to be a wet blanket or anything, but I thought the concert/performance was somewhat...lacking. The girls were very good, and I enjoyed them. The guy with them...meh. If he'd sang one or two songs, I'd have liked him better. They sang an hour and 10 minutes, which was fine with me, but the concert had been billed as Jeff Brewer with Impossible Dream in little bitty letters, implying that they would be a little bitty opening act at most. Which, as I said, I enjoyed them, but I think the billing should have explained.
Brewer is obviously talented and is a very good Elvis impersonator. But he seemed off his game that night. I've never seen him, so I can't speak to any other performances, but he seemed very winded the entire night, very not-together (lyrics at times), and sort of like he wished he were somewhere else. I speak from experience of singing more than an hour on a stage and under hot lights, so I'm not speaking out of turn here. He sang about 45 minutes and came back out for an encore of two songs. A dozen songs doesn't really do it for me if you're an Elvis impersonator, when there are so MANY MANY songs to choose from, and that people know and want to hear. (The girls sang more than that, I think, or at least combined with the guy I know they did, and then sang with Elvis, and they didn't seem to have a problem.) I thought the sound could have been balanced a little bit better, also...the girls were balanced well, but the music seemed louder than Jeff, and that was distracting. My favorite that he did was "Where Could I Go But To The Lord"...he did a very nice job that was true to the original.
Not dissing anybody, but I just think it could have been better, and I know from professional musicians and performances.

Sorry you were disappointed ...........but saying Jeff was off his game is like taking "wet" out of water or "hot" out of fire.........It just don't happen....Thanks for coming out.....
