Does anyone know how the refill cups work at Six Flags now? The day the kids bought them they got free refills all day with an arm band. Can they take them back for refills at a discounted price? Thanks.

When we went last year, the refills were free. You didn't even have to wait in line at the places that were self serve, you just showed them your cup and wrist band and you could fill up.

Yes, refills are 99 cents anytime after the day you buy them, just take your bottle with you. You can also use them at Racetrack for 69 cents refills.

..only on for a minute, than off to a meeting... I want to bring my daughter and 2 friends (adult and child) to Six Flags this Saturday...
The best price I found so far was using a coupon code and getting 4 for $24.75 each...but that doesn't include parking with I think is another few dollars.. I'd appreciate any suggestions for a better ticket price (if that's possible). I'm sure there are probably discounts for police, fire, military...are they any cheaper than what I found? Thanks... I'll check back later after my meetings....

I know! They always were before--so I washed one of them--it's about half size now. I'm hoping they will trade it.

Yeah I know, I did the same thing, now appears to be more of a plastic sculpture of morphed Six Flags. We're hoping for the same thing. :)

We bought passes for $50 each. If you think you'll go more than once you might buy 2 passes and use the coupons from the book they give you with the pass to get friends in. There are several days you can bring a friend for $9.99--there is one that would work this Saturday. There is another coupon for the pass holder to go to White Water for $9.99 any day through September 5th.

We bought a box of cereal at wally world on Sunday and it had FREE coupon inside for a ticket to 6 Flags. The cereal was maybe $3 (I dont' remember what the name brand was) But you could always throw the cereal away for $3

I'll find out from dbf what the cereal was called.

UPDATE.. it's a FREE KIDS ticket and it's on a box of CUPCAKE PEBBLES.

They must have a new manufacturer because this years cup shrunk into a strange looking figure. That was a waste of $13.

the "free refill" scam is that you have to purchase a $1 locker to store the cup while you are on certain rides. Six Flags is definatly a rip off these days with the $15 parking and nickel and dime mentality.

We went last weekend and took our two refiilable cups and spent a total of $18 the entire day. Given we have season passes and a season parking pass but the $18 included my wife and I both having lunch at the park with one of the coupons from our season pass coupon book. We have been 3 times already this year so we have paid for the passes and will for sure go every weekend in October as my wife loves frightfest and who knows how many times between now and October. The benefit of the passes to me is if you want to go for a few hours you can without feeling obligated to stay all day to get your money's worth. You can go and not spend a fortune as long as you don't get sucked into all of the impulse buy stuff. As far as the lockers for certain rides, there are only two that require this, Superman, and Goliath and you just have to pay the $1 for those if you want to ride them.

The only day we have been when it was crowded was on Saturday. It seems Saturday is when all of the groups go like chuch groups or company outings. We usually go on Sunday and there is usually not very many people there on Sunday.

A lot of the big corporations have links to where you can get tickets for $19.99... I know engineering fabrics in Rockmart has a login/password for that price if you know someone that works there.

Last week my daughter and her friends went in together and purchased a refill cup. They paid for a locker when they got on the coaster and locked it in the locker, when they got off the cup was gone and someone elses stuff was in their locker. It took them 30 min. to convince six flags to give them another cup. When they road another coaster they sat it to the side w/ their shoes and when they got off the coaster it was gone. So this being said it is useless to get a refill cup unless you always have someone to hold it for you.
