Just received this e-mail from the South Paulding Touchdown Club

"I know that you’ve all heard that all of the middle school sports operated by the Paulding County school systems have been cancelled. However, what you may not know is that football for these middle schoolers will now be operated under the umbrella of their home high school. What this means is that the 7th and 8th graders in our communities won’t miss any opportunity to play football this year!!

We are very excited to announce that the Spartan football family is growing. If your middle schooler will attend South Paulding High school - This Friday night, June 5th from 6pm to 8pm – we will be registering players for 7th and 8th grade football for this upcoming season! The registration fee will be $175, plus a $175 uniform deposit (this is cheaper than most rec park programs, in case you’re wondering…). You will need to bring a copy of your players Birth Certificate and Physical form along with the registration form and fee.

REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT SOUTH PAULDING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE COMMONS AREA!!!"

A second sign-up date has been announced for all parents of upcoming 7th and 8th graders that will eventually attend SPHS. The South Paulding Touchdown Club will be signing up players on June 15th from 6:00-8:00pm in the school commons area. $175.00 per player with $175.00 deposit for equipment/uniforms. Deposit will not be cashed unless all equipment is NOT returned.
