Looking for wedding venues that are low in cost. Any ideas? Would be a fall wedding.

Euharlee Covered Bridge...It's free to have a wedding and there are a few locations around the bridge you could set up a ceremony site. The commisary in Euharlee is $75 to rent and has a big kitchen to prepare food. PM me if you want me to email pics of a wedding I helped plan and was in in July.

Che'ne Rouge in Hiram!!Depending on the time of year, can be lower in price. You just gotta go when the other brides don't, like Jan/Feb. So worth the price!!!

We got married this past October at The Whitlock Inn in Marietta.
They handle pretty much everything for one price.
Beautiful place!

Our oldest daughter just got married at The Grande in Kennesaw.
They also handle everything for one price.
Another beautiful place.

That's a cute idea! I have never heard of a wedding taking place there, but I bet it would be pretty and unique!

Berry College is very pretty also (and cheap!), however you have to be a student, alumni, or child of an employee/alumni to be able to have your wedding there. Students/Alumni can also reserve their date up to two years before their actual wedding, so be prepared to be flexible when booking one of the chapels. My best friend was married at Berry last year and they booked their wedding date before her and her fiance were even engaged! :ninja: The waiting list is that ridiculous.

We got married at Cedar Plantation in historic downtown Acworth. At the time, the prices were really good... it was a package deal: food, drinks, wedding cake, a planner, etc for one price. And it is beautiful there. After pricing out many other places as well as renting a place, caterers, cake, etc, this place came in way under the other places cost wise. And we just loved the grounds and the house. I have heard, though, that their prices have gone WAY up, but I am not sure. You could at least look into it.

That's exactly how The Whitlock Inn in Marietta, and The Grande in Kennsaw do things too.
When you add up the cost of cake, flowers, dj, caterer, bartender, table linens, event coordinator, etc, it was Cheaper and frankly a lot less of a headache!

Define "low." Do you mean under $5000? Under $1000? Free?

Are you just interested in a site for the wedding itself, or do you want to have a reception there, too?

Yes, we would be doing a reception as well. Under $5,000 would be nice. (Vegas is out of the question but nice suggestion!)

Thanks for the ideas!

Ragsdale Inn, but not sure on prices. Just a suggestion. Bullock Farm is another don't know pricing though. Can't think of the name of it in Cedartown at a waterfall.

After seeing all of my friends get married and the stress they had, before and after our wedding, I was so glad we did it that way. They did everything for us. Stress free!

You can rent thru Euharlee City Hall The ladies in the office are really sweet! They gave us the key to the commissary to look at it and the guests could walk from the ceremony site to the reception.

I would love to see pictures!!

Hubby & I used to live in Euharlee. My mom is still there, within walking distance of the bridge!
