[Subby's Mower Repair]

This MONSTER has a 42" cutting deck with "micro-dial" deck adjustment, a 15.5 HP Turbo Cooled Briggs and Stratton overhead valve engine, and 6 speed tranny- excellent condition except for the front of the hood (which I will be repairing also). It is a mammoth of a riding mower for folks who have a LOT of yard to cut. I am having a new camshaft installed this week, then it hits the market. Asking price will be a low $800. Great price when you consider I have fixed every bug there is to fix....which came to around 300 dollars in labor alone. I love this thing, but my yard is way too small to justify keeping it. It is suited for large yards.

I will post the thread as soon as I am done rebuilding everything there is to rebuild. You can save a cool $1200 if you buy this thing. As long as i don't run into any unforeseen problems, the price will remain at $800. I'm gonna do all I can to keep it in that price range. These are among the best of the tractor mowers on the market today. So, stay tuned!!!

Incidentally, these particular engines came with cam shafts that were too "soft" of a metal, and wore out quickly. The after market cam shaft done away with that problem.....so this is a machine that will last you a decade if taken care of, and serviced every Spring. And trust me- 800 is CHEAP for this quality of a machine!! Google the prices, and you'll see what i mean.

I will post pics of the actual mower when I am finished refurbishing it.....only thing is- the hood has a large decal that says "New York Police Department"......but that's a good thing. No one would dare say anything to you if you cut your grass too easlt or too late, because we all know that the NYPD are some bad dudes!!
