Cobb- I looked on Cobbs site but did not see them.

Red Rock is off Mars Hill in Kennesaw

Cheatham Hill Community Clubhouse I am guessing is off Cheatham Hill

Yes. I called probably 20-30 places today and they are all booked. Which seems crazy to me because it is months away.

I want a place to rent with a kitchen under 155.

Needs to fit 35 people.

CHEATHAM HILL COMMUNITY CLUB, 3702 ERNEST BARRETT PKWY, MARIETTA, GA 30064

RED ROCK COMMUNITY CLUBHOUSE, 545 MARS HILL ROAD, POWDER SPRINGS, GA 30127

maybe someone who drives by these can stop and write down the phone numbers for you. They aren't part of the Cobb Parks and Recreation department, so the numbers aren't listed there.

You might also try the Ron Anderson Community Center or the George Ford Community Center. Both are in Powder Springs. The Anderson Center is part of the Cobb Parks Dept and is listed under Parks and Recreation at www.cobbcounty.org. The Ford Center could be contacted through the city of Powder Springs at http://www.cityofpowdersprings.org/index.aspx?nid=368 A note that you'd best get out your pocketbook if you want the Ford Center.

I know you said you wanted to rent a place with a kitchen, but have you considered having the shower at a special event location and have them do the food? I can think of three right off the top of my head. Ragsdale Inn (Dallas), Sullivan House (Powder Springs) and that new place in Hiram, L'Chene Rogue or something like that. I'll check the name when I go by there on my way to work.

Like someone else said, try the Suntrust in Hiram. Also, Greystone has meeting space, both at the location in Dallas and the one in Douglasville, as does the county--the Chamber of Commerce and the Senior Center come to mind. Hiram also has a community center. I'd guess that one could be booked through the City of Hiram.

I know Cheatham Hill Community Club has a phone number on the sign out front. I've seen the sign many, many times. My aunt used to live across the road about a 1/4 mile. the phone number probably goes directly to someone's house or cell phone since most of the time community clubs don't have phones in them.

I have called all the places you listed about them doing the food. It is just too much money. Those range from 550-1000 to feed 30 people. We can do our own food for half that price.

I have not tried the Suntrust. All the others you listed the are booked.

I found Cheatham Hills number from someone off FB. I called and left them a VM. Thanks so much for the ideas.

Sept/Oct are becoming very popular wedding months. That's why a lot of venues are booked and probably have been for awhile!

For my folk's 40th, I threw a party at a community center..maybe someone will know what the name of it...

Go towards Town Center Mall...Dallas Acworth Hwy?? Anyway, instead of turning lft on barrett prkway to go to mall, turn rgt. The community center is about 1 mile on the right. It has a fireplace and kitchen. Very, very pretty. I rented it on a Saturday all day for 200.00
